Construction and

renovation of high speed lines

High speed line construction requires expertise in project management and orchestrating exceptional means. Highly innovative in this domain, ETF has developed a new track-laying system, creating a track section on a concrete-slab. The renovation of high speed lines consists of renewing the ballast and track equipment.

Maintenance of mainline

rail networks

ETF’s strong regional presence offers its customers a constant close partnership. Providing multi-skilled, the company participates in all types of work: track renewal, track equipment renewal, rail and sleeper renewal, aluminothermic welding and electric welding, mechanical tamping and adjusting.

High performance renewal

of track and ballast

A true factory on rails, this year-round work is able to renew over 200 km of track per year throughout France, with an average output of 1,000 m. per day.

Track-bed cleaning

With its cleaning train, ETF is able to carry out the complete renovation of all track components and track bed layers in a single operation. This train can also carry out upper water-proofing for bridges and tunnels and level track connections over an obstacle.

ETF carries out construction work and maintenance on mainline

and high speed rail networks. Recognized for its innovative, highly

efficient technologies, its expertise is applied in several fields:

high performance renewal of track and ballast, mainline track

maintenance, high speed line track laying and upgrading, track

bed cleaning, ballast removal, civil engineering and rail signalling.

(11)

Ballast treatment

ETF has developed a mobile procedure for ballast removal which allows the recycling of 25-60% of ballast from clearing operations on its French high-performance renovation worksite.

Rail replacement

ETF is able to carry out all rail-conditioning work, either on site or in workshops including; preventive anti-wear and anti-screeching rail replacement or repair, reconditioning of points and crossings and wavy-wear pattern reprofiling.

Rail civil engineering and

signaling

ETF provides services for bundled cable laying, cable laying and uncoiling, signalling connections, concrete pit casting, under-track crossings, as well as in the construction of passenger platforms and in automatic announcements on the work site, of trains running on the rail sidings.

Aluminiothermic/electric

welding

ETF is certified for welding methods for grooved, flatbottomed (Vignoles) and Burbach rail profiles.
