Bionatics is borned from successive technology transfers & research programs:
AMAP®: a 3D plant & landscape simulation technology developed by the CIRAD research center,
Blueberry3D®: a procedural modeling technology for the modeling & visualization of large territories,
Eureka & Terra Magna: European research programs about 3D GIS & urban simulation.•
Bionatics operates 3 offices & develops its own reseller network : 1 000 customers in 30 countries:
Montpellier, France: Headquarter - R&D center – Customer support,
Paris – France: Sales & Marketing department - Training center,Because it is simple and linked to geographic source data, LandSim3D opens a wide range of
great 3D applications in the planning and management of cities & regions.
•
City & regional planning
Urban regeneration & public space design,
Integration of infrastructure into the landscape,
Project comparison & alternative proposals,
Visualization of urban rules and city growth over time,
Environmental & plant growth simulation.Because it is simple and linked to geographic source data, LandSim3D opens a wide range of
great 3D applications in the planning and management of cities & regions.
A wide range of applications for territory management
•
Promotion of project, cities & regions
Project promotion and public presentation,
Promotion of business district & technology parks,•
Environmental risk studies & information
Simulation of the impact of potential natural risks (overflow, fire, storm…)
Prevention & training of population against natural risks,
Environmental monitoring : noise, pollution, energy preservation...Because it is simple and linked to geographic source data, LandSim3D opens a wide range of
great 3D applications in the planning and management of cities & regions.

The 3D landscape model can be exported and shared through various media solutions
3D city & landscape modeling for non-3D experts
To help non 3D experts (urban planners, landscape architects, GIS experts …) to get rapidly
started, importation wizards assist users in the importation steps of their geographic data.

Thanks to the Bionatics procedural technology, the fusion and 3D modeling of that
geospatial data is done on the fly during the visualisation phase of the scene.

Very large scene can be displayed in real-time without requiring a lot of graphic memory
(t
he procedural approach builds the 3D content in real-time in the field of view only).
