Did you know that already many hundred years ago in the royal castle many fabulous parties were celebrated and the guests dined
with delicious food and drinks? The lords were always very hospitable and offered their guests only the finest and best food
and drinks.
On our menu you will find many traditional dishes which we found in an old “royal recipe book”. Our castle chefs cooked them
and refined the traditional dishes for you.
As a special service we have highlighted these dishes for you on our menu. Follow the knight figure with the coat of

The Moselle steep slopes have been family-owned for over 200 years. The winery has been managed by Ernst F. Loosen since 1988. Bodegas Marques de Murrieta Ygay: One of the best wineries in Rioja Interesting to know: The major renovation project of Marqués de Murrieta was completed with the inauguration of the new production facilities in 2021, a complex of buildings of more than 25,000 square meters, built next to the Ygay Castle. This building is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and is considered one of the most avant-garde wineries in the world. More than 50,000 square meters of garden make it a charming and idyllic place. However, the winery remains true to its roots and identity and ready to continue producing the best wines.
