From Pastor Eric:
Wickline exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ and it is my joy to serve as Wickline’s Senior Pastor. Our interest is building stronger, healthier disciples who reach more disciples. Our Mission Pathway describes how we are structured to make healthier and more disciples happen in our midst. Thank you to all of our volunteers for your countless hours of service to
Christ’s mission here at Wickline. Thank you to our staff for your dedica-tion to helping Wickline move forward in mission. As we move into 2015 my leadership and expectations around priorities include:
1. Development of our convergent style worship (both on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings) encouraging young and old to find meaning together in worship.
2. Expansion of our Wickline Kids & Wickline Youth ministries, with special emphasis on intergenerational cooperation and engagement in mission.
3. Capitalization on our WOW (Wickline on Wednesday) ministry, with emphasis on Fellowship Groups and the WOW Meal as great ways to introduce new people to Christ & to Wickline.
4. Extension of our reach into our surrounding community through targeted outreach ventures.
5. Communication and follow-through of our Mission Pathway and our organization-wide commitment to the successful pursuit of God’s mission.
From Pastor Nancy:
November 15th marks the beginning of my fifth year of ministry here at Wickline. I have seen and
experienced God move in mighty ways. As I look back over this last year I am amazed at the ministry done by the people here at Wickline. Our Whiz Kids program has impacted the lives of over 30 children. We creat-ed a Wickline Day Camp over the summer and got to know many kids from the neighborhood. The Wickline Way class hit record breaking numbers in October. The thing I am most excited about is the professions of faith we have had from several adults who have joined our church. We are doing great things friends and I look forward to seeing where God is going to be leading us next year.
