Greetings in the Precious Name of Jesus!

The Lord continues to do awesome things with and through Yes Lord’ Ministries. As we embark upon a season of fasting and consecrating ourselves before the Lord, we want to make certain that the Lord has complete access to every area of our lives.

Our theme is “I Will Trust & Obey God All the Way” …is designed to challenge us individually and corporately as a ministry to expect the Lord to do wonders among us.

Psalms 37: 3-7 (KJV)

3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. 6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. 7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.

During these 21 days, we are suggesting you ask the Lord for the following:

1. To reveal to you what needs to be refined in your personal life and walk with him.

2. How you can use your gifts, talents, abilities and resources for expanding the Kingdom of God. 3. How you can become a contagious Christian, as you share your faith with those you know personally

and come in contact with.

4. That you will be determined to allow the Holy Spirit to equip and empower you to effectuate positive change in Yes Lord’ Ministries.

5. That you will become more committed, dedicated and faithful to the vision God has ordained for Yes Lord’ Ministries.

6. That you will become diligent in spending time in prayer, praise, the word and worship with signs and wonders that will follow your ministry.

7. Finally, that you will continue to intercede with prayer and thanksgiving for Apostle, Pastor and the entire leadership of Yes Lord’ Ministries.

Pastor Mamie and I will be praying that God will strengthen, encourage and keep you. We are believing the Lord will continue to show himself strong in each of our lives and ministries as we endeavor to fulfill the Purpose, Plan and Destiny God has for each of us.

The Lord desires for us all to live a life of Holiness and be the Light in the world. We are to lift up the name of Jesus through our lifestyle not only in church but also in our homes, workplace and community.

Expect to experience an awesome move of God in our lives and ministry as we invest this time of Consecration in Fasting, Praying, spending quality time in the Word of God and seeking His face.

Please note the instructions that are included in this manual & the Daniel Fast Guidelines.

In Kingdom Building,

Apostle Willie Tolbert

FASTING SCRIPTURES

Matthew 6:16-18

Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

(When we are fasting, it is between God and us. People should not be able to tell by our verbal or non-verbal actions. We should not look sad and hungry J. Instead, we should seek God for strength daily.)

Isaiah 58:6

Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?

(During this time of consecration, allow God to destroy every yoke in your life so you can fulfill the purpose and plan He has for you.)

1 Corinthians 7:5

Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

(For the married, it is important that you go to your spouse and ask permission to participate. We want to do all things according to the scriptures, so God can get the glory out of this.)

Joel 2:12

Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and weeping, and with mourning:

REMINDERS

There are a few things that should be brought to each of our attention:

1.

Remember to be prayerful throughout the entire day

2.

Keep a prayer journal of what you have experienced during this sacred time of

developing a closer relationship with the Lord.

3.

We are appreciative of the parents who are permitting their children to participate in

this consecration

. There are numerous scripture references where the children were very

much involved in the time of Fasting and Consecration. Josiah at the young age of 7 led

an entire nation towards dedication to God.

4.

We are asking that

if your child is not

participating in the consecration that you will

refrain from providing any type of foods or snacks to them at church.

Please feed them prior to coming or after service away from the sanctuary. This will enable

the children who are participating to remain focused and receive from the Lord

.
