Summary

This upgrade to version 4.7 of the CCH Trust Service includes new templates for a share transfer, resolutions, minutes, checklists and other documents which can be generated using the software’s document creation wizards.

A new AML (Anti-Money Laundering) tab has been added to the Person Maintenance screen, allowing for the results of AML checks to be recorded in the CCH Trust Service database. An AML Status report has been added to the Reports menu.

All reports can now be exported to MS Excel and an option to open reports in MS Excel has been added. The user defined reports have been updated.

Eleven standard tasks have been added to the Task Library.

Any user defined field (either for a trust or a person) can now be made mandatory. The CCH Trust Service subscription no longer includes access to the CCH Question and Answer Service.

Other minor enhancements and changes have been made following feedback from users.

 A share transfer template has been added to the Precedents tab in the Document Library. The share transfer template is:

 Nine new resolution and minute templates have been added to the Minutes & Resolutions tab in the Document Library. The new resolutions and minutes are:

 Three new templates been added to the Other tab in the Document Library. The new templates are:

 An AML Status report has been added to the Reports menu (Reports>Persons>AML Status).

 The user defined Trust Listing and Person Listing reports have been updated.

Person Maintenance

 Provision for recording the results of anti-money laundering (AML) checks has been added to the CCH Trust Service. To record AML information for a person listed in the CCH Trust Service database:

 Open the Person Maintenance screen for a selected person.

Click the AML tab.

 To record whether an AML check is required, click the dropdown arrow in the AML Check field and select one of the options: Yes, No, Not Required.

To record information about documents related to the AML check, click Insert in the Checks field, select the relevant document from the pre-populated list and enter other information as necessary. You can amend the list of AML documents if you wish (Maintenance>Setup Options>AML Documents).

 Any People User Defined fields can now be made mandatory. To set up mandatory People User Defined fields:

 Make sure you have created the People User Defined fields in the People User Defined tab of the Maintain System Setup screen (Maintenance>Setup

Options>System Setup>People User Defined).

 Select Maintenance>Setup Options>System Setup. Maintain System Setup screen appears.

Click Defaults tab.

Click Required Person Fields. Required Person Fields screen displays.

 Tick the User Defined Fields (previously set up) that you wish to make mandatory.

Click OK. The selected user defined fields will appear with a yellow background in the Person record and you will not be able to save the record without entering data in the mandatory user defined fields.

Trust Maintenance

 Any Trust User Defined field can now be made mandatory. See instructions above for making People User Defined fields mandatory.

 A set of standard tasks has been added to the Task Library.

Access to CCH Question and Answer Service

 Access to the CCH Question and Answer Service for trust questions is no longer part of the CCH Trust Service subscription. For technical support questions about use of the CCH Trust Service software, please contact the Technical Support team on 0800 500 224 or [email protected].
