web assisted/online undergraduate course development,

During the fall of 2017 I had two cost sections. One a traditional face to face class and one web assisted. The web assisted class met only for exams. In preparation for the semester I wrote about 90 one page learning units from the chapter content and my 40 years of teaching experience. While teaching the face to face class, the lectures were recorded and then placed on blackboard. The result was one video for each learning unit. The learning units range in time from 15 to 25 minutes with an average of about 20 minutes. When completed the students had over 1600 minutes of videos recorded by me during a live class. The nature of the material allows for the learning units and the videos to be used in subsequent semesters.
