The Administrative Salary Schedule includes three components: Base Salary, Supplements, and Complexity Factors for site based administrators which when added together equal total annual salary for administrators.

Component 2: Supplements (Contract lengths of less than 250 days will be prorated) Applies to both School and District Administrators

Executive Council, maximum 6 years @ $5,190 (codes SZEC1 – SZEC5)

FRS Longevity Supplement @ $2,000 (code SPLN7, SPLN8)

Performance/Merit

School-based administrators who qualify for the St. Lucie County School District’s pay-for-performance will receive a 5% supplement on their base pay for outstanding

performance.

Market Factors Recommended by the Superintendent as appropriate based on current market factors (SPMKT).

 Administrators may be placed on the appropriate salary/supplement schedule as recommended by the Superintendent.

 Advanced Degree Supplement: paid for degrees held applicable to the position and above the requirements outlined in job qualifications outlined in the Board approved job description.

 Longevity supplement (SPLN7, SPLN8), as authorized by section 121.021(22)(3)(b) Florida Statutes, of $2,000 for administrators with a minimum of 10 years FRS-creditable service as an administrator. For administrators transferring into an administrative position from an instructional position, St. Lucie County School District instructional experience in excess of 10 years will count toward this Supplement. This supplement shall be included in the calculation of retirement bonus and payouts of sick and/or vacation leave.

Once points for each of the three factors are assessed and totaled, salary adjustments will be made to school administrator base salaries as follows:

 Salary complexity factors would be calculated no later than November 15 each year.  Enrollment is defined as annualized unweighted FTE reported for each school site in

October of the current year.

 Free/Reduced percentages are calculated in October using October unweighted FTE and the number of students with approved free and reduced priced meal applications on file for each school.

 Extracurricular Activities point levels are based on frequency of after-school activities at various school levels scheduled outside of normal school hours. Points are as follows:
