AGENDA

Meeting Purpose:

The Judicial Engagement Network (JEN) Leadership on Domestic Violence Summit 3.0 (Summit) is focused on strategies to promote, implement, and sustain positive systemic changes for improving court and community responses to intimate partner violence (IPV – domestic, dating, and sexual violence, and stalking) in civil and criminal settings.

Learning Objectives:

As a result of this Summit, participants will be better able to:

• Identify existing promising practices for enhancing system responses to domestic, dating, and sexual violence, and stalking;

Recognize the role judicial and court leadership play in promoting and sustaining systemic change;

• Develop practices through collaborative efforts focused on

institutionalizing positive changes meeting the needs of litigants, survivors, and families; and

• Connect with judges around the country to expand personal networks of judges committed to improving responses to intimate partner violence.
