an associate degree program

be able

to

complete

the

baccalaureate

degree program in

same

of

hours

as

for

Tulsa

University of Oklahoma , Tulsa (OU - Tulsa) and Tulsa Community College (TCC) accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, mutually enter into this articulation agreement

to

provide students

with

the educational

opportunity to

complete an Associate in Science in Child Development-Early Childhood Education at Tulsa Community College which

will

serve as the first two years of a Bachelor of Science

in

Education degree at University of Oklahoma -Tulsa.

This agreement

will

be subject

to

the

following

provisions:

1.

The student shall have graduated from Tulsa Community College

with

an Associate in Science Degree in Child Development-Early Childhood Education

with

a

total

of sixty (61-62)

credit

hours. A maximum of sixty (60) semester hours from a

community college may be used

to

meet

the

minimum requirements

for

a baccalaureate degree.

2.

provided the student follows the sequence of both the associate degree program and

the

baccalaureate degree program, the student transferring

from

an A.S. in Child Development-Early Childhood Education at Tulsa Community College

to

a B.S.

in

Education

will

be able

to

complete the baccalaureate degree program in one hundred twenty-seven hours (127) *, the same number of hours as required

for

a native

student-3.

The student shall earn a minimum of sixty (60) semester hours at the University of Oklahoma - Tulsa excluding physical education activity courses, of which

forty

(40) semester hours must be in 3000/4000 level courses

for

a minimum of one hundred

twenty

seven (127) semester hours

for the

baccalaureate

degree-4.

The core curriculum for the associate in science degree at Tulsa Community College and other courses outlined in the attached degree plan

will

be accepted as satisfying the general education and computer proficiency requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Education at the University of Oklahoma -

Tulsa-5. The student shall have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 at Tulsa Community College in order to meet the Transfer Admissions Requirement of 2.75 for an Education degree at OU-Tulsa.

TCC and OU

will

cooperatively develop transfer guides and degree plans for each student who successfully completes the fCC Child Development-Early Childhood Education program to progress from the associate degree to the baccalaureate degree.

7.

Each

institution

is committed

to

providing a seamless education path for the students in the TCC Child Development program and

to

enhancing this partnership.

* This total does not include the Foreign Language courses required

by the University of Oklahoma General Education and Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.

The student shall submit an application

for

admission and official transcripts, which indicate the student, has met the criteria of this agreement. The Director of Admissions

will formally

notify the student of his/her admission status to the University of Oklahoma

-Tulsa.

Upon

formal

approval of this

articulation

agreement by the appropriate officials of the

two

institutions, each is free

to

publicize the

terms

herein. This agreement shall remain in effect

until

one or all of the institutions deem

it

necessary

to

modify or terminate the agreement.
