to the following guidelines*
in the
establishment, publication,

promotion of
Associate of Arts and
Sciences
degree program
to
Baccalaureate
degree
program articulation
agreements.

Programs listed must be associate degree programs
that
articulate
to
baccalaureate degree programs
in
the
same
or similar
field
'
All
courses
within
the
associate degree program are accepted at
the
receiving
institution,
unless
otherwise
noted, and apply
to the
student's
baccalaureate degree program provided
the
student
completes
the
course
work
in
the
specified
time
frame
'
Students
transferring
from
an associate degree program
will
be able
to
complete
the
baccalaureate
degree program in
the
same
number
of
hours
as
required
for
a
native
student,
provided the
student
follows the
sequence
of both
the
associate degree program and
the
baccalaureate degree program.
These
students
willtake

University of Oklahoma , Tulsa (OU - Tulsa) and Tulsa Community College (TCC) accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, mutually enter into this articulation agreement
to
provide studentswith
the educationalopportunity to
complete an Associate in Science in Child Development-Early Childhood Education at Tulsa Community College whichwill
serve as the first two years of a Bachelor of Sciencein
Education degree at University of Oklahoma -Tulsa.This agreement
will
be subjectto
thefollowing
provisions:1.
The student shall have graduated from Tulsa Community Collegewith
an Associate in Science Degree in Child Development-Early Childhood Educationwith
atotal
of sixty (61-62)credit
hours. A maximum of sixty (60) semester hours from acommunity college may be used
to
meetthe
minimum requirementsfor
a baccalaureate degree.2.

an A.S. in Child Development-Early Childhood Education at Tulsa Community Collegeto

complete the baccalaureate degree program in one hundred twenty-seven hours (127) *, the same number of hours as requiredfor
a nativestudent-3.
The student shall earn a minimum of sixty (60) semester hours at the University of Oklahoma - Tulsa excluding physical education activity courses, of whichforty
(40) semester hours must be in 3000/4000 level coursesfor
a minimum of one hundredtwenty
seven (127) semester hoursfor the
baccalaureatedegree-4.
The core curriculum for the associate in science degree at Tulsa Community College and other courses outlined in the attached degree planwill
be accepted as satisfying the general education and computer proficiency requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Education at the University of Oklahoma -Tulsa-5. The student shall have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 at Tulsa Community College in order to meet the Transfer Admissions Requirement of 2.75 for an Education degree at OU-Tulsa.
TCC and OU
will
cooperatively develop transfer guides and degree plans for each student who successfully completes the fCC Child Development-Early Childhood Education program to progress from the associate degree to the baccalaureate degree.7.
Eachinstitution
is committedto
providing a seamless education path for the students in the TCC Child Development program andto
enhancing this partnership.* This total does not include the Foreign Language courses required
by the University of Oklahoma General Education and Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.
The student shall submit an application
for
admission and official transcripts, which indicate the student, has met the criteria of this agreement. The Director of Admissionswill formally
notify the student of his/her admission status to the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa.
