10. Major Projects Undertaken:
(i) UGC-SAP PROJECT under DRS Phase-1: The school has received assistance at the level of DRS Phase I under SAP scheme from University Grant Commission. This grant is intended to encourage the pursuit of excellence and teamwork in advanced teaching and research to accelerate the realization of international standards in specific fields. An excellent state-of-the-art laboratory with Data Mining Tools has been set-up for training and research.
(ii) DST-FIST: The School has received assistance under DST-FISTprogram in level I category from DST, New Delhi to strengthen the post graduate teaching and research in the area of Wireless Network and Security in the school. The various equipments have been purchased for network infrastructures developments such as routers, switches, latest PC, networking in the new building of Computer Science and an M.Tech program has been initiated.
11. Outreach Activity:
The School organizes from time to time many activities for overall development of the students. Activities like, Project competition, Idea Mela, Sports events, Cultural events, Interaction with Industries, PTM, Social welfare activities for weaker sections etc. are organized to sensitize the students.

13. Milestones:
(i) Excellent Infrastructure: 12 different labs, An Auditorium of 250 student capacity, 6 auditoriums of capacity 125, and 2 auditoriums of capacity 60.
(ii) Strong Teaching-Learning
(iii) Formation of various committees (for Academic Planning, Result and Examination, Placement, Industry Interface, Assessment and Research, Laboratory and Infrastructure development, Library development) leads to transparency, decision on Time and mutual trust among faculty and staff in the department.
(iv) The school has a well-stocked library with a collection of around 15000 volumes comprising of books Computer Science, Communication and Information Technology with full automation and secured system.
(v) Organized National Conference and guided several PhDs.
