Acknowledgement

In the preparation of this School Based Assessment (SBA) of the Management of Business (MOB), the researcher would like to first thank my mother for providing the money, encouragement and knowledge needed for the completion of this School Base Assessment (SBA). The researcher sincerely wants to give thank to his teacher Ms. L. Lewis for handing this every venerable topic which as assisted in the widen of my knowledge about Business

Introduction

This School-Based Assessment (SBA) is based on the investigation of Human Resource Management into the Company Computer Corner. This School-Based Assessment will give an over view of the organization before the establishment date.

Aims and Objectives

The computer company has objectives similar to those of any firm's IT department. The company must organize resources to deliver computers or computer-related services to customers in a profitable business model. Aims and objectives are part of the computer company's strategic planning process.

The researcher objectives of this internal assessment are to:

Literature Review

Abstract

This literature review will examine the impact of the internet on high street shopping. The internet is making it easy to shop online anytime, anywhere. The objective of this research is to measure whether society has a preferred shopping choice, and if so, the reasoning behind this. Whilst sometimes the internet is the most convenient way to shop, it was found the high street is more attractive and offers more interaction and a personal shopping experience for clients, considering the experience of choosing and trying the products for example. Also it is relevant to consider that consumers are easily influenced by cost of the purchase, time saving and

Methodology

Research designed well defined

Quantitative Research is used by the researcher; it is more logical and data-led approach which provides a measure of what people think from a statistical and numerical point of view. For example, if you wanted to know how many of your customers support a proposed change in your products or service and how strongly (on a scale) they support it. Quantitative research can gather a large amount of data that can be easily organised and manipulated into reports for analysis.
