Résumé: The focus of the VISIBLE project is on the position of Project Manager which is a key role in the RDAs. This focus is chosen in order to facilitate the passage from having occasional common projects to having permanent mutual co-operation between RDAs. They need to reduce organisational barriers by exploiting the potential of staff exchange as well as European job mobility. To get this process going it is crucial to develop a common

understanding of vocational training, where not only the settings and practices of learning are shared but also the key references and standards.

Description: The foreseen VISIBLE results are: - VISIBLE Non-formal Learning Process

- VISIBLE Transparent Pedagogical Framework: Preparatory tools (organisation chart model, glossary of horizontal competencies, definition of the project manager role, key horizontal competencies for project managers) and case histories

- VISIBLE Validation Methodology, including competencies matrix, role plays with different ends and the VISIBLE guide

- VISIBLE dissemination tools: meetings with local actors in the field of vocational education and training (VET), European theatre based workshops, national theatre based workshops, role-playing games, project website, newsletters, leaflets and press releases.

The main project target groups are:

- Development Agencies (DAs) - regional development agencies, agencies for economical development, local action groups, sectorial agencies etc.

- Project Managers

- Human Resources Managers - Training providers

The main project activities are:

- Identification of common ‘Transparent Pedagogical Framework Tools’ for the sector of the European DAs such as: organization chart model, glossary of horizontal competencies, definition of the role and project manager, list of key horizontal competencies for the PM, case history format. These preparatory tools will help ensure transparency and the recognition of qualification and competencies, including those acquired through non-formal learning. - Identification of a non-formal learning process for the improvement of the PMs’ key horizontal competencies based on the completion of case histories.

Produit 'Case Histories'

Titre: Case Histories

Type de Produit: Matériel pour l'enseignement

Texte marketing: The Case History is a detailed account of the facts affecting the development or condition of a person or group under “treatment”, training or study.

A form of qualitative descriptive research, the case study typically examines the interplay of all variables in order to provide as complete understanding of an event or situation as possible.

The advantages of a case study are they can provide a wealth detail, give credibility to situation and problems, pointing out risks and opportunities, and most important, provide an outcome.

Case Histories show, with a concrete and not theoretical approach, the results obtain after a particular process.

Many Case Histories are based on the description of situations of success, as a tool of benchmarking; a way to share with others a “correct” how to path for “what to do in case of….”

But, Case Histories do not necessarily had to refer to “success”. They can also describe negative situation, outline a process that could teach “what not to do in case of ”.

Case History can be analysed in terms of “internal” or “external” environment, becoming an important tool for understanding and improvement, a problem solving and/or benchmarking instruments.

Description: Each partner participate to the two compulsory rounds of Case Histories creation, thus representing a learning opportunity and the basis for the further development of the validation emthodology.
