Augmenting the Beautiful Game: From AR and remote production to UHD and AI, this event includes interviews, presentations and panel sessions focusing on the broadcast production sector’s efforts to enhance coverage of the game of football. SVG Europe’s second dedicated Nordic Summit will take place in the Norwegian Media Cluster in Bergen, in collaboration with NCE Media.

Scheduled ahead of the NAB 2019 show, the Chairman’s Forum offers a unique Platinum sponsor-only conference, networking and golfi ng event providing an ideal entry point to the coming week out on the show fl oor.

The Pre-Game Party provides a very special opportunity to network with colleagues from across the globe over drinks before the NAB exhibition gets underway the following day.

OTT distribution and direct-to-consumer live streaming are dramatically changing televised sport. Key TV Everywhere topics to be addressed include cloud delivery, user experience, latency, security, app development and monetisation.

SVG Europe partners once again with Sky Deutschland to deliver a unique sporting spotlight on the DACH region.

SVG Europe joins forces once more with Sky Italia to present a day’s discussion on the key issues within the Italian market.

SVG Europe’s fl agship Sport Production Summit in Amsterdam now attracts over 500 sports professionals from around the world. It also sees the annual presentation of a special Lifetime Achievement Award that annually honours a leader in sports broadcast production.

A further opportunity to celebrate the winner of the SVG Europe Lifetime Achievement Award and to relax and network with industry colleagues over drinks on the Saturday evening of the IBC show.

As always SVG Europe’s unique next Generation Audio Summit – a collaboration with Dolby and other leading audio vendors – will focus on immersive audio, audio-over-IP and other technologies shaping the broadcast sound landscape.

There’s a new world of contribution and distribution out there, with rapidly changing connectivity, compression and cloud workfl ows with 5G opportunities, new SaaS models, distribution hubs and evolving networking technologies.
