Below summarizes the updates addressed in this AIXMIC CPP Changes.

Rating & Issuance

ISO & AIX/ NOVA Updates – System has been updated with following state changes. The Effective Dates listed below are the system implementation dates (Control Date) and may not reflect Companies filed Approval Dates. When applicable, the changes reflect both CO 10 – Nova Casualty Company and CO 20 – AIX Specialty Insurance Company.

The User needs to manually select the above two forms for NY General Liability and/ or Property Quotes/ Policies effective 01/17/2009 – 1/31/2009 to comply with legislation. The system will automatically attach the forms effective 02/01/2009 & later.

"The law takes effect on January 17, 2009 (180 days after it was signed by the Governor on July 21, 2008). The amendments apply to all liability policies (including renewals) issued or delivered in New York on or after the effective date of January 17, 2009, including policies issued in the excess line market.
