Too good to waste Your new service
Did you know in 2015, 45% of materials in the green-lidded bin sent for disposal could have been recycled in your blue and brown-lidded bins?
An average green-lidded bin in Perth and Kinross still contains materials that could be recycled at the kerbside:
Last year this cost Perth and Kinross Council over £1 million on disposal charges for the materials that could have been recycled.
You can help by recycling all of these materials in your blue- lidded and brown-lidded bins.
