All rights to televise, videotape, advertise, photograph, promote or otherwise exploit this event are vested in the Alaskan Malamute Club of America, Inc. National & Regional Specialties or in the person

to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by the club.

The professional video services and live streaming at this show are governed by an exclusive video contract with the Club. No other commercial video recording, video recording from a tripod, monopod or other supported camera/device, or any video recording or streaming of large parts or whole classes shall be permitted. The contract terms permit individuals to record small bits of video of their own dogs only, and using handheld devices only (e.g. phone, tablet or small camcorder). Individuals may post recorded videos of their own dogs to social media (Facebook, YouTube, etc). However, during show hours LIVE Broadcast Streaming to social media (e.g., Facebook Live) is not permitted. Submission of

an entry form and/or physical presence on the show grounds shall constitute both implied and real consent for both the handler and the dog to be professionally video recorded and streamed live only

by the professional video services as contracted by the Club for this show.

All rights to video record and live stream or otherwise exploit this event and/or the persons or animals participating in it, including the names, likenesses and biographical matter of dogs, owners, handlers, breeders and kennels participating in the event shall belong solely to the show giving Club and/or the American Kennel Club, Inc. No spectator, participant, owner, handler, breeder or kennel shall make

commercial use of any video recordings of any person or animal participating in this event without prior written approval from the Club. This event may not be broadcast to social media (e.g. Facebook

Live, etc) without prior written approval from the Club.

Exhibitors & friends, please refrain from taking photos in the Official Photo area.

The Show Photographer is o be the sole photographer at all show functions. If any other photographer wishes to photograph for profit, prior approval is required from the Show Chair. This clause does not affect newspaper and television photographers on specific assignments, amateur photographers taking pictures for their personal use, (other than win photos), or candid photos taken

by attendees and offered to AMCA for publicity purposes.

Covid waivers will be required for anyone attending these events. It is suggested that you fill out your waiver before coming to the show to save time processing your entrance. Waiver forms will be

available at the event and posted on the AMCA National Specialty website @ www.amcanational.com

Please note that Covid cases in Gettysburg and within Adams County are the lowest in the State of PA. All hotel staff has been fully vaccinated. This COVID waiver will provide liability protection to

AMCA, the Eisenhower Complex and all workers and volunteers serving these events.

Masks are not a requirement within Gettysburg as of 9/26 (time of providing this statement).

Recommended CDC guidelines regarding social distancing should always be considered.

GOOD NEWS FROM THE HOST HOTEL:

They have agreed to open up their complimentary breakfast buffet to AMCA hotel guests. The buffet will be open each day from 7-10 am. Therefore, we will NOT need to plan an extensive hospitality room offering each day. However, AMCA’s hospitality room will be open starting at 6am each morning for early risers that need to grab and go something as they head off to groom each day.

ATTENTION EXHIBITORS

Access to Grooming Room (Eisenhower Ballroom): Exhibitors will be allowed access as soon as the set up is completed; we ask for your patience with this situation.

Dogs ARE ALLOWED to remain in the grooming area overnight. There will NOT BE ANY SECURITY.

Owners are responsibility for providing identification information on the crates for any dogs left in the grooming area overnight with the dog’s name and contact information of the responsible party. ANY DOGS CAUSING A DISTURBANCE AS DETERMINED BY SHOW COMMITTEE OR HOTEL STAFF MUST BE REMOVED, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Bathing Area: An outdoor dog bathing area will be available in the rear of the hotel. Bathing supplies are the responsibility of Exhibitors. Absolutely no bathing allowed in hotel rooms violators subject to Bench Show Committee

Ex Pens: Ex pens are NOT PERMITTED in the Grooming Area or directly in the front of the Hotel.

Ex pens ARE ALLOWED outside in the Parking Areas or Designated Grassy areas. If placed on pavement, plastic MUST BE USED underneath; SHAVINGS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL WAIVER OF RIGHTS - ANIMALS IN DISTRESS

The Alaskan Malamute Club of America, Inc. reserves the right to remove any animal in distress from a parked car or crate, and all persons attending these dog events hereby waive any claim for damages against the club for such removal. The club regards the health, safety and life of any dog on the show grounds to be paramount to other property or privacy rights. The club will not be responsible for paging anyone if situation deems to be an emergency situation - WE WILL ACT.

Dogs found in an unsafe environment, distress or harm's way (for example: left unattended on a

grooming table in a noose not attached to a safety release clip; left in a vehicle without proper

ventilation) will be removed to safety. Exposing a dog to an unsafe environment, distress or harm's

way is considered mistreatment.

EVENT COMMITTEE & HOTEL RULES & GUIDELINES

Any violations of these rules may subject the offender to a Bench Show Committee or immediate dismissal from the show & hotel.

! The Alaskan Malamute Club of America, Inc. will comply with all CDC, Federal, State & Local regulations regarding Covid-19. Masks may be a requirement for attendance,. As a courtesy to the judges presiding over the entrants, if the judge chooses to wear a mask, exhibitors in the ring will be required to wear masks. The decision to require COVID-19 WAIVERS will be determined by the Show Committee.

! The Alaskan Malamute Club of America, Inc. may decline entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness, or any other cause, in accordance with AKC Rules and Regulations. No one shall have claim or recourse against the organization or any official thereof.

! All Registered Guest at the hotel will be required to sign a Pet Agreement form provided by the hotel at check in.

! Dogs MUST BE CRATED when unattended in the guestrooms. Damages to the room are the responsibility of the occupant and must be settled with the hotel prior to departure.

! Disruptive guests (or their dogs) may be asked to leave.

! The grooming area is a privilege extended by the AMCA National Specialty which can and will be withdrawn from those who do not follow the instructions and rules of the Show Committee.

Exhibitors are responsible for damages and cleanup of their grooming area.

! Dogs are ALLOWED to be left overnight in the Grooming area. Dogs that become a nuisance will need to be removed from the grooming area. Each crate in grooming area must be tagged with owner's name and guestroom #. The Grooming area will be locked overnight from 11pm until 6am. There will be NO security personnel on duty overnight. Protect your valuables; do not leave them out.

! NO BATHING OR GROOMING OF DOGS ALLOWED IN HOTEL GUEST ROOMS. If there is any grooming found by the hotel staff or show committee, you could be asked to leave and be subject to a Bench Show Committee.. An outdoor dog wash area will be provided;

bathing products are the responsibility of the owner.

! Private exercise pens will only be allowed in designated areas. All ex-pens must have mats or plastic under them and MUST be swept clean at departure. Shavings are NOT ALLOWED.

! Exercise dogs ONLY in the designated areas. Please clean up after exercising your dogs;

equipment will be provided for your convenience.

! Dogs must be on leash at all times or confined to their crates, except when being judged or groomed.

! Smoking permitted in designated areas ONLY.

! NO dogs will be allowed in the public areas, restrooms, courtyard or restaurants.

! No parking in loading/unloading zones.

! Neither AMCA, the show committee, Host Hotel or ALLSTAR management will be responsible for the loss or damage to any dog or property of any exhibitor, whether the result of accident or any other cause. It is expressly understood that every dog is in the care and custody of his owner or handler during the time the dog is on the show premises.

! Any guest whose dog(s) make excessive noise will receive one warning to remedy the situation.

If the problem persists after this warning, Show committee reserves the right to remove offending dog(s) and guest(s) from the show; hotel reserves the right to remove guest(s) from the hotel property.

! CONDUCT PREJUDICIAL TO THE SPORT Proceedings under (Article XIV, Section 1, of The Charter and Bylaws of the American Kennel Club will be enforced. Among the kinds of conduct that may occur are: a demonstration of dissatisfaction with a judge's decision;

altercations with officials or participants; abusive or foul language in public; and

mistreatment of a dog; or destruction of hosting hotel(s) property.
