Articulation – Associate’s to Bachelor Specialization Programs
American InterContinental University (AIU) agrees to accept the following Polk State College
Associate degree as a block of 90 quarter hour (QH) credits:
AS in Business Administration and Management (AS to BA/BS Career Path)
The Polk State College degree above will be applied towards the fulfillment of one of AIU’s
180QH Bachelor of Business Administration programs, with specializations in: Accounting,
Entrepreneurship, Finance, Generalist, Human Resource Management, International
Business, Management, and Marketing.
Any Associate degree program from catalogs previous to the 2009-2010 Polk State College
catalog may be reviewed on a case by case basis, and are not explicitly covered under this
agreement.
Polk State College Associate in Arts in Liberal Arts degrees will be evaluated on a case by case
basis for possible block transfer into an in-field (substantially similar) Bachelor’s degree in the
following programs:
Bachelor of Business Administration program at AIU Online or AIU South Florida
Bachelor of Information Technology program at AIU South Florida

The following Polk State College Associate degrees are separated according to their remaining
requirements in any of the above AIU Online Bachelor’s degree completion. Any Associate
degree program from catalogs previous to the 2009-2010 Polk State College catalog may be
reviewed on a case by case basis, and are not explicitly covered under this agreement. All
programs require a total of 180 quarter credit hours for graduation, including 54 quarter credit
hours in general education requirements. Any Associate degrees containing less than 27
quarter hours in general education requirements will be evaluated on a course-by-course basis.
