• Responsible Sub-Committee of the ECOSOC Committee of experts on the TDG and on the GHS :

UN Sub-Committee on the transport of dangerous goods, two sessions per year

• 27 members with voting right

• Other observer states without voting right

• International governmental organisations (IMO, ICAO, WHO, ILO, OTIF, ...)

• International non-governmental organisations (NGOs) (chemical industry, gas industry, packaging industry, carrier, …)

• Tasks: Common provisions for all modes, in particular classification, packing provisions

• At the end of a biennium (pair years) one session of the Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods
