2021 Junior Livestock Auction
The youth of Napa Valley cordially invite you to participate in the 2021 JUNIOR LIVESTOCK
AUCTION. The sale will be held In Person on Saturday, July 10th beginning 9:00 am.
We know each one of our buyers has been severely impacted economically from COVID-19. We
appreciate any support you can give our youth exhibitors. Our community is known for coming
together and supporting the kids, and while this year might not look like past years, it is without a
doubt we will all get through this together.
The livestock programs at the Fair offer opportunities for our youth to showcase the best in goats,
sheep, hogs, and cattle. The Junior Livestock programs give 4-H and FFA members an opportunity to
learn valuable skills in selection, care and feeding of livestock, animal health and record keeping.
These projects also teach important life skills.
We are proud that the annual Napa Town & Country Fair Junior Livestock Auction supports 4-H and
FFA agriculture education throughout Napa County.
As a buyer, you directly help finance and support individual junior exhibitors who are working to
become future agriculture and community leaders and you get high-quality, locally sourced food for
your business or family. It’s a win-win situation!
Again this year please keep in mind the Napa Salvation Army & the Napa Valley Food Bank, if you
purchase an animal and do not want the meat instead of sending the animal resale you may choose to
donate it to the Napa Salvation Army or the Napa Valley Food Bank and have a tax write-off. You will
still be responsible for the kill & return and cut & wrap fees.
Please be aware that again this year we will be holding the exhibitors auction checks until the
buyer(s) has paid for each animal in full. For your convenience you may pay by company
check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover card.
The Auction is the culmination of a year’s worth of work on the part of the 4-H & FFA members. We
appreciate your support for the youth of the Napa Valley.
How the Auction Works
1.
Visit our website at www.napavalleyexpo.com and click on the Town & Country Fair Tab to
access the auction information and the link to buyer registration.
2.
Click on Red CLICK HERE button in the middle of the page.
3.
Click on the Red Sign In button at the top right corner of the page.
4.
Use the down arrow where it says “I am a…” and select Buyer.
5.
If you have been a previous buyer use the down arrow where it says Choose a Buyer and
scroll down to find your Buyer Name.
6.
It will then ask you for your password. By now you have said “But I don’t have one”. Just
under that where it says Forgot your password? Click Here to reset. The ShoWorks
system will send a link to your on file email with instructions How to Reset password.
7.
If you do not have an on file email then Send your Buyer Name (as listed) and email
address you would like for your account to
[email protected]
. We will then update
your account and send a note to your email. Then you will need to go back to step #5 and
set your password.
8.
If you are a New Buyer then click on the box at bottom of page where it says “I am a new
buyer or not listed above. Fill in all the required information and submit.
9.
After completing steps 1-7 a buyers packet with information and your Buyers number will
be ready for pick-up on the day of Auction.
10.
Please note that all registrations will be done online Only. Register early to make the
process as smooth as possible.
11.
Bidding will be done in person somewhat back to the way it has been done in the years
past.

Animals that are purchased as a Live Pickup will need to be paid and picked up from the
facility between the hours of 5pm - 8pm, Saturday – July 10
th, 2021.
Add-On's
•
Add-on’s will also be available this year, but ONLY online. If you are not able to buy an exhibitor's
animal but still wish to add on an amount to assist one or more of our Junior Exhibitor’s that has
an animal in the auction, you can pledge an add-on. Add-ons are a flat dollar amount and may
only be submitted on the website: napavalleyexpo.com and click on Town & Country Fair Tab. No
in person add-ons will be accepted. People wishing to place add-ons will also need to register as
a buyer on the website. All add-ons must be received no later than 12 noon, Sunday - July 11,
2021 to be valid. All add-ons will be added to the registered buyers final billing. You can expect to
see them on your online account on Monday, July 12, 2021 by 12 noon
