1. On the download page (https://ahlei.org/slatehotel/), click the link to download the install files.

2. Make sure the option to “Save File” is selected and click “OK.”

2. Files will download to the “Download” folder by default.

3. Navigate to the folder on your system where downloaded files are saved.

4. Right click on the downloaded zip file, and select “Extract All…” from the drop-down menu.

3. To install the simulation, walk through the onscreen steps by clicking

“Continue”.

5. Browse to the folder you would like to extract the downloaded files into and click “Extract.” If you wish for the folder to open automatically after extraction, check the “Show extracted files

when complete” box before clicking “Extract.”

6. The install files will extract into the folder you designated.

How to Launch the Simulation Game

1. Double-click on the extracted file. If you are unsure which file to double-click, look for the one with the “Type” of “Application.” This is the file you will double-click every time you wish to launch the course, so don’t forget where you saved it.

2. The Configuration box will appear. You should select which choice best suits your machine, based on the minimum requirements and your computers specifications.

 If you choose to launch it in “Windowed” format, you will need to maximize the opening window to have it fit completely on your screen.

How to Start/Resume a Simulation Game

1. To begin, click “New Game.” This will allow you to play the “free” sections only. If you have purchased the game, you will want to click “Enter Access Code” and enter the code you received when you purchased the game.

2. To register, you will need to enter:  First Name

information and hit “Continue,” you will see a notification that the course is “Registering…”. This may take a few moments, so be patient.

1. Clicking the “New Game” button will bring you to the initial instruction page for Level 1. Here you will be introduced to the course, navigation and features in the game.
