1. Introduction

SharePoint provides a platform for everyone to share ideas within an organization, however the complexities of enacting a SharePoint system in house can be staggering, with the majority of the deployments requiring extensive administrative attention.
Net Access’ Managed SharePoint solution leverages the knowledge and experience of our staff and the high availability and scalability of our data center environment to deploy and support a robust,
centralized collaboration platform. We custom design a hybrid solution for each customer based upon their unique workload and reliability expectations. Each configuration is powered by our FLEX platform and housed in our world class data centers, so they can easily be engineered with no single points of failure.

2. Net Access Managed Services Solution Process Flow
Consultation and Design
– Net Access Engineers will meet with the customer in a collaborative
session to define the requirements and review the proposed solution. A dedicated engineer
provides consultation and planning to ensure that the deployment of the solution meets the
client’s deadlines, expectations, and functionality. Net Access strives to ensure all customers
are provided a service that is the right fit for them. Some environments are small and static and
some environments are large and need to scale. Net Access engineers can design a solution
based on a number of needs.
Implementation
– Net Access will perform a cooperative test and turn up of the design,
working with the customer to verify all components meet their requirements, expectations,
and security concerns. A dedicated Managed Services Engineer is available during this process
to make any necessary adjustments and ensure that the client is satisfied. Net Access will also
work with third party integrators or vendors that will be involved in the deployment of the
solution to simplify the process.
3. FLEX Services Solution Components
The following FLEX Services are utilized in the solutions outlined in this document:
FLEXSecurity – Managed Firewall – Dedicated next generation firewall with options for
Remote Access, Site-to-Site VPN, and High Availability. Security features can include full UTM
(unified threat management) - deep packet inspection intrusion detection, and advanced
screening and filtering for URL, Web, Email, SPAM, and viruses. Available as a virtualized or
hardware appliance.
FLEXServer – Rapidly deployed, securely hosted dedicated servers that can be
connected to the Internet, other Net Access FLEX services or a client’s existing network
infrastructure to create a true hybrid solution. Net Access provides maintenance of the
physical hardware, the supply of power, the network connectivity and provisions any purchased
upgrades of the hardware.
FLEXVirtualDC – Our virtualized enterprise data center offering. Available as a
dedicated or multi-tenant solution, FLEXVirtualDC allows clients to deploy, adjust and expand
Virtual Machines (VM) on-demand using committed pool of compute, memory, storage and
bandwidth resources via a self-service web portal.
FLEXLoadBalancer - Virtual or hardware appliance solutions designed to evenly distribute

Use Case #1 – Private SharePoint 2013
CUSTOMER PROFILE:
A small, local law firm requires dedicated infrastructure for their data and it looking to Net Access to provide them with a private SharePoint solution. The law firm currently has only a few users so would like a purely virtual environment.CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS:
• Dedicated infrastructure • Personal sites
• One Drive and One Drive for Business • Virtualized environment
NET ACCESS PROPOSED SOLUTION COMPONENTS:
Net Access recommended a HIPAA compliant FLEXCloud solution, which included the following FLEX services:
• FLEXServer • FLEXVirtualDC • FLEXLoadBalancer • FLEXSecurity Firewall
The proposal also included management by Net Access of all networking devices, storage units, and backups to improve compliance consistency by means of a single IT support staff.
SOLUTION HIGHLIGHTS:
The proposed Net Access solution utilizes FLEXVirtualDC to run the virtual server environment, which would be comprised of 4 servers:
• Server 1: SharePoint 2013 Front End, Windows 2012 R2 – Provides the front end services for SharePoint 2013.
• Server 2: MS-SQL 2014 STD. Windows 2012 R2 – Provides the back end database for SharePoint 2013.
• Server 3: Active Directory Node, Windows 2012 R2 – tied into customer’s existing Active Directory.
• Server 4: FLEXSecurity - Firewall – Virtual firewall providing site-to-site VPN termination point to the customer office.

Use Case #2 – SharePoint 2013 w/ Office Web Apps
CUSTOMER PROFILE:
A large technology security firm with a large group of employees that has come to Net Access requesting a document library and web browser-based document editing solution where a majority of their employee’s documents will be stored in the document libraries with versioning control, multi-user editing and fine grain security access controls. The customer also has a requirement of a high level uptime agreement.CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS:

NET ACCESS PROPOSED SOLUTION COMPONENTS:

In this configuration all of the physical servers are running in a clustered mode or behind
