Overview of this document

When using Chase Paymentech / NetConnect in a (US) retail/quick service environment the transactions are processed via Host Capture.

 Host Capture is when all transaction information is saved by the processor, but still allows user to send a settlement command.

When using Chase Paymentech / NetConnect in a (US) fine-dining with table service environment the transactions are processed via Terminal Capture.

 Terminal Capture is when all transaction information is saved within the station the transaction was processed on. This allows the user to add tip before settling (Tip Line must be enabled).

o If you are using RPE using Tips, please use this document: Configuring Tips

To ensure Chase Paymentech processes correctly within CRE/RPE, you will need to install the latest SDK Installation files, depending on whether your computer is 32Bit or 64Bit.
