Notes from the Version 1.66 Read Me File

These notes were released in English in the previous version of the software:  Replacement of Peer-to Peer connectivity with TCP - Office Synchronizer and

Tablet Synchronizer no longer use Peer-to-Peer technology to connect and exchange data between a computer and a tablet. Instead, you can now connect using Transmission Control Protocol (TCP). On the new Options >

TabletSync tab in Office Synchronizer, check the TabletSync is On box and specify the number of the port you want to use to connect to the tablet. In Tablet Sync, specify the name of the computer running Office Synchronizer and the same port number.

Note: The computer and tablet need to be behind the same firewall.

Setup

The first time that you synchronize a device after installing Office Synchronizer, you must designate a data synchronization area (root synchronizer folder). Simply identify a folder for the data on your computer (for example,

C:\OfficeSynchronizer).

You will also be prompted to provide a name for the device. A folder will be created in the data synchronization area (under the root synchronizer folder) using the device name, (for example C:\OfficeSynchronizer\DeviceX).
