This booklet is designed to help you understand our full product range and although we develop and add to them all the time, it should give you a taste of what we can offer you and your clients.

All of our insurance products are created following in-depth market research and discussions with you to find out exactly how we can compliment your current offering and enhance the level of cover you presently offer your clients.

We pride ourselves on our ability to understand the modern insurance market and believe in only offering something that will ensure you stand out from the crowd in what is now a very competitive industry.

At ULR Additions, we believe in the importance of working closely with all of our partners and prospects to ensure we deliver practical solutions, identifying and creating the most appropriate additions to compliment your own style and main products.

Specialising in the design of new and innovative niche-market products, we can set you apart from your competition. Much of this development comes from working together with you, so please take a look at what we can offer you and get in touch to discuss your needs. Our dedicated team will help you put together a successful product or package tailored to suit your needs.

ULR Additions can give you the flexibility to create something truly unique.

(5)

OUR APPROACH

ULR Additions is a well-known brand which is highly respected in the industry. We have been recognised for the training and development of our people, being awarded Investors in People Gold in 2011, given to less than 3% of UK companies. As a result we ensure delivery of an experienced, fully trained claims handling team operating 24/7 that strives to exceed expectations.

Customer surveys indicate that dissatisfaction with claims handling is one of the most frequently cited reasons for not renewing a policy. Given it is much more cost effective to retain an existing customer than acquire a new one, our high customer service levels represent a compelling proposition for brokers. ULR Additions are able to offer access to fully trained, in-house, UK-based staff 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We currently design and provide products in line with your needs, working together to fill gaps in the market and enhance your core products.

At ULR Additions we continuously demonstrate our ability to bring products quickly to market. By working together with your company through in-house training and promotion of new product bundling opportunities, we aim to improve your sales effectiveness.

(6)

OPERATIONS

At ULR Additions, we offer access to fully trained in-house staff 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, enabling claims to be reviewed and progressed at all times of the day, thereby speeding up the claims process.

We set ourself apart from other organisations by demonstrating the highest ideals and standards of service in the industry. By putting client satisfaction at the forefront of our operation and procedures, by motivating our team to offer a consistently high level of service regardless of the time or day of the year we have created the basis for the ultimate service package. We are very conscious of the impact staff have on the level of service provided and as such we ensure full, in-depth training is given.

Over the last 14 years ULR Additions have developed and tuned their 24 hour facility to enhance the operation that you and your clients can rely on. The world has changed and clients have come to expect and rely on businesses to provide services around the clock. We offer a “genuine” 24/7 solution, which puts your firm ahead of its competitors, with an experienced team always available, fully trained, 24 hours a day, all year round.

(7)

WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP

When a client contacts us, we want them to feel safe in the knowledge that we act as an extension of your own organisation. A white labelled service is the first important step to offering a seamless process to your policyholders. Your clients can be provided with designated contact telephone numbers to get them through to the appropriate teams. These lines can be personally branded and answered in accordance with your requirements.

White labelling is an important tool for retaining customer confidence. We understand the responsibility that comes with delivering this service correctly and at all times when working behind your name. Clients have chosen your firm for a reason and it is crucial to have brand loyalty and ensure we are not just protecting your reputation, but enhancing it.

In addition, if we have access to policy information the whole claims process is a lot easier for the client and ensures we give the client the best service by following the most appropriate course of action based on the level of cover they have purchased.

Data/declarations can be forwarded to us on a weekly/ monthly basis by electronic dispatch. We are able to advise you on appropriate formats and provide templates of required information. Alternatively, we can arrange for remote access to your own systems by our handlers enabling them to have real-time policy data at all times.

(8)

MOTOR

LEGAL EXPENSES

If a client is unfortunate enough to be involved in a non-fault motor accident they may expect their insurance to cover all their out of pocket expenses. If they are not responsible for the accident why should they have to suffer financially? Neither third party nor fully comprehensive cover offers protection against potentially substantial financial losses, even after a minor accident.

Our Legal Expenses policy will take care of recovering any out of pocket expenses incurred in an accident. We will take all necessary steps to recover any client’s losses against the responsible party or their insurer and if necessary, appoint legal representation to reclaim the client’s losses through the courts without any cost to them.

IN-VEHICLE PROTECTION

Modern day living means that our electronic gadgets are now part and parcel of our everyday lives with the majority of us taking them with us wherever we go. It can be quite stressful and inconvenient should our favourite gadgets accidentally break or are even stolen and to be able to replace them can quite often be a large financial commitment.

With the cost of modern day gadgets ever increasing, the cost of replacement can also be expensive and depending on the model can run into hundreds of pounds.

GAP

COVER

In the unfortunate case of a motor accident, regardless of fault, the motor insurers will usually only pay out the current market value on the vehicle, regardless of how much shortfall this could leave your client with. This could be several thousand pounds compared to the value of the car when it was purchased due to vehicle depreciation.

Our GAP Cover Insurance will cover your client in circumstances where their vehicle is written off by their motor insurer and there is a difference between the price they paid for the vehicle and the amount paid out by the insurer. This policy will fund the difference between the two, providing that the vehicle did not cost more than £50,000 and was less than eight years old at the date of purchase of the policy.

Bearing in mind that some insurers agree to replace a new vehicle within a set time frame if involved in an accident our cover can even be deferred for a year if required.

(19)

HELMET & LEATHERS

Modern motorcycle clothing provides impact and abrasion protection from the moment riders hit the road until they come to a stop, but this essential protection comes at a cost with helmets and leathers now costing on average around £500.

Damaged leathers offer considerably less protection and if a helmet has suffered any sign of impact immediate replacement is recommended.

Our Helmets & Leathers cover is specifically designed to assist bikers with the expense of repairing or replacing their damaged motorcycle clothing, helmet, boots and gloves following a motorcycle accident which occurs in the UK and up to the relevant level of indemnity.

MOT, ALLOY WHEEL & MISFUELLING

COVER

This policy is suitable for all drivers and offers your client assurance that they have protection should one of these common issues occur.

If a client’s vehicle fails the MOT inspection due to a faulty or defective component, we will cover the cost of repair and get the client back on the road as quickly as possible.

If the client’s vehicle can be shown to have failed the MOT standard and has a Refusal of an MOT test Certificate (VT30) our policy will cover the cost of replacement parts or repair, including labour and VAT.

Damaged alloys certainly do not have “Kerb Appeal” and our Alloy Wheel policy will pay the cost of repairs and offers the client the assurance their car can continue to look great. In the modern world, as people are moving from car to car it is easy to fill your diesel engine with petrol or vice versa. The damage could be extensive as well as inconvenient. The additional benefit of this product is the Misfuelling Cover, and as 17 motorists every hour will tell you, filling your car with the incorrect fuel can be disastrous and very expensive to repair.

The vehicle repair costs for the 150,000 drivers who made this mistake totalled £50 million*, the average cost of the

mistake being typically £300.

HOME EXCESS

PROTECTION

With the rising premiums of household insurance, there has also been an increase across the UK in relation to excess charges meaning claiming on a main household policy can end up being costly.

An insurance excess is the most common out of pocket expense a policyholder can face when making a claim on their household insurance. Therefore it is important to ensure that even after a successful claim, the policyholder will be reimbursed for the excess paid out initially.

Should the policyholder be unfortunate enough to have to make a claim on their home insurance and be asked to pay their policy excess, they will have peace of mind knowing that the excess will be reimbursed by our Home Excess Protect cover.

By having Home Excess Protect the policyholder could increase the excess on their home insurance policy therefore potentially reducing the initial premium and saving money.
