Description on some of the new features
●
Customer overview from partner portal
The partner portal now has a much more informative customer overview. From there you can now see the following:
○ Customer ID
○ MX-record status
○ Firewall status
○ Number of mails in queue
○ Number of domains
○ Services/packages
○ Licenses
○ Unique senders
○ Active/not active
●
Partner & customer portal linkage
Instead of logging into a new tab in your web browser when you go to a customer's portal, your current tab will now change. You always have an arrow at the top right hand corner which you can use to go back to your partner portal. To switch to another customer portal, you use the 'Search and switch' field, where you just enter text and you get a list of options of which portal to login to.
●
Email flow
The email flow now shows both inbound and outbound direction in the same logs, with a column where you can filter on one or the other way.
You can now also edit which columns you want to see in the logs, for example: received & delivered date, origin IP or delivered with TLS.
When you open up a mail you can now also see the SMTP logs for incoming transaction from the sender and the external delivery from us towards the receiver.
●
Quarantine report settings
In the new quarantine report settings there are now the options to include Bulk or CEF mails along with the normal spam or virus mails. The permissions for the different types is also set on the same page, making an easier
configuration. The option for individual login to the portal for users also exists as a check box, where the user only will be able to access their own settings and message logs.
●
Outbound IP authentication
From the portal, you are now able to add IP addresses for allowed outbound relay. The default inbound route or IP address is also automatically added as an authenticated source.
●
EmailBackup
14 days of email backup is now included for free for all customers. Other than that, the backup service works the same as before, although the backup size (GB) has been removed. now we only count the number of users and for how long time the backup retention shall be.

●
Commercial Email Filter (CEF)
The emails that get stopped by CEF will now be included as an option in the new Bulk email filter (read more about this function below). The CEF mails will now also be quarantined instead of blocked like the previous version, so that you can open the mails or release them (from your quarantine report, if that's active on your account).
●
Bulk email filter
This filter is not activated as of standard because it will not apply for all customers, but the option to activate it from your portal exists. Bulk email filter will block any type of mass email send out for the incoming mail filter and set these in quarantine. There is also an option to add Bulk emails to be included in the quarantine report which is
recommended if you have this function activated.
●
Forced TLS
Forced TLS can now be configured from the portal where you can set which domains and what direction it will be applied for. You can also do a TLS test to the recipient as well as for your own mail server, to see if you or the sender has configured TLS correctly.
●
Regular contacts automatically whitelisted
When an email address has sent some legitimate emails, it will automatically be added to the white list. If the receiving email address is added to the portal, it will be added specifically for that address. Otherwise, it’ll be added for the account, which will apply for all domains.
●
Detach and store large attachments
In emails that has large attachments, we will now strip the attachment from the email and deliver the email without it.
In this email there will be a link for the receiver to instead download the attachments. You can also configure how these files are stored, for how long the link will be valid and more.
●
Rules & DLP
A lot of new triggers, conditions, actions has been added to the Rules and DLP framework. As the DLP service now is free, you can now basically trigger for anything in the email down to details in both incoming and outgoing direction.
●
Incoming SPF check
If you have created a SPF record, you now have the option to activate an incoming SPF check for your domains in your portal. This means that you can make a trigger that checks if a SPF record fails, it will for example set mails in
quarantine.
Optional (paid) new features:
●
Continuity
Continuity is an optional function that works as an online mail server, a web mail if your mail server has crashed. Then you will be able to login to your portal and use that as a temporary mail client to send and read emails.

FAQ
●
What is the background to releasing this upgrade of the Stay Control Panel?
The older versions of Stay Control Panel and Stay Partner Panel has proved very popular, however we have also had a long list of improvements we would like to implement along with feature requests from our clients. In particular, we have been unable to create all of these due to limitations in the architecture of the old Stay Control Panel, but with a new base platform this is now possible.
●
What do I do if I need help?
There is a new help function in the Stay Secure Portal. On every page of the different parts of the Portal, there is a blue
“HELP” button in the upper right corner. Clicking this button will open a discrete pop-up window with a description of all the different menus, buttons or functions of the current page, and what these do.
Additionally, we provide a support knowledge base with how-to articles of common questions that you might have, mimicking the knowledge base of the previous Stay Control Panel version.
