to accelerate the performance of
their top executives. These firms are
dissatisfied with the average results
they’ve received from traditional
training programs.
While most traditional programs offer business or
wellness coaching, with no connection between
the two, SawyerOne Performance delivers a
comprehensive, holistic solution. Bringing together
the most advanced fitness, nutrition, and executive
coaching techniques, we focus equally on personal
and professional development, helping your firm’s
leaders reach their greatest potential at work and in
all areas of life.
The
SawyerOne Performance
story
began in 2003 when Hugh Sawyer and I met in New York City. At the time,
Hugh was working for AXA Advisors in New York as a performance coach for
AXA’s top financial advisors.
Over the years Hugh and I participated in various business and wellness coaching
programs, but we found that none of them offered the holistic approach
necessary to deliver the results we were looking for.
In 2008 Hugh started SawyerOne, a financial advisory firm for businesses and
their top performers. Hugh soon realized that his clients needed not just financial
advice, but comprehensive guidance on how to achieve optimal performance,
both personally and professionally. So to meet this demand, Hugh and I joined
forces to launch our own coaching company—SawyerOne Performance.
Our vision is to help companies get maximum ROI on their investment in their
star employees. We do this by offering measurably effective executive, fitness
and nutrition coaching, while conducting our business to the highest standards
of integrity.
Using our program, today’s leaders gain the skills, insights, and stamina
to achieve their greatest success. And as these leaders thrive, so do their
companies, with strengthened bottom lines and the kind of ROI on their
employee commitment they never before thought possible.

“I have truly enjoyed and benefitted from our relationship over the last four plus years, as I have navigated the challenges of becoming a member of the senior leadership and ownership team with SFCS. To be able to discuss complex issues and situations within the strictest of confidences has been helpful to allow me to process and determine approaches for office challenges which I would otherwise have no sounding board for.
Out of these coaching session I feel that I have gained a deep professional friendship which has greatly benefited my career and advancement opportunities. From the discussion we have, to the books you challenge me to read, to the efforts you advise me to pursue, all of these have been very important not only to my actions but also to my way of thinking.”

performers become even more successful. We provide a simple, effective solution
to the biggest challenge facing any organization—how to build great leaders who
can deliver results.
SawyerOne Performance overcomes these challenges. Our coaching program is tailored to the needs and goals of each client, with training that engages employees in improving their performance and helps companies realize a better return on their employee investment.
Here’s what you can expect from us:
•
Measurable improvement in your top talents’ job performance
•
Access to a team of expert coaches for the most advanced training in business, fitness
and nutrition
•
Development programs which are based on proven methodology and customized to
each executive
•
Improved employee engagement
•
Reduction in executive attrition
•
Convenience of a dependable, single point of contact
•
Confidentiality in all coaching engagements
•
Predictable pricing
In contrast, traditional coaching programs face a range of obstacles that
limit their effectiveness.
These problems include:
•
High upfront costs•
Low employee enrollment (typically less than 50% of total staff)•
Liability issues•
Substantial time commitment from the client’s internal resources•
Requirement for the client to purchase educational materials•
No one-on-one coaching•
Difficulty assessing individual progressApproach
The greatest indicator of a company’s health is not its balance sheet but
its people. In many organizations, unfortunately, the vital signs aren’t
good: lack of communication, sub-par leadership, and toxic corporate
cultures have left employees deeply dissatisfied, leading to poor
performance and high attrition and turnover rates. The consequences
are all too evident in the company’s bottom line.
It’s true that in the last few decades companies have become more
interested in programs that aim to improve employees’ performance
and overall wellness. However, stand-alone executive coaching,
gym memberships, wellness programs, career coaching, and dietary
counseling only touch on parts of an individual’s life, without
addressing the whole individual. Moreover, while this coaching may
improve personal well-being, it often fails to translate into better
corporate performance.
SawyerOne Performance takes a different approach. We combine the
best elements of executive, fitness, and nutrition coaching in a single,
comprehensive program. Putting into practice the techniques we
teach, clients are able to achieve optimal performance in every area of
their lives. The impact can be extraordinary—for both the individuals
and their companies.
Executive Coaching
Your executive coaching program is entirely customized to your particular needs,
challenges and goals. Working with one of our expert coaches in a one-on-one
setting for 6-12 months, you’ll build leadership skills and learn how to better
manage time and stress.
You’ll also learn to help other executives transition successfully into a new position—for example, when someone with a highly technical background takes on a managerial role and needs training in leadership and communication.
Moreover, as a trusted confidant, mentor and advisor, your coach will give you the tools and guidance to resolve the most challenging business situations, make better decisions, incorporate feedback more effectively, set and achieve new goals, and get the most out of your corporate and board relations.
Fitness Coaching
You may never wish to compete in a triathlon, but as a result of our fitness
coaching you can look forward to a remarkable improvement in your health, with
one result being better job performance.
At the start of our fitness coaching program, a SawyerOne Performance certified exercise professional will assess your level of fitness and recommend an exercise program that works for your schedule and fitness goals. The fitness coach will provide guidance on how to exercise properly, help keep you motivated, and hold you accountable to reaching your fitness milestones.
We know you’re constantly on the go, so we’ll create an exercise regimen that you can follow anywhere—at home, at the gym, or on the road.
By following our coaching, you can expect to:
•
Increase your energy level•
Work to achieve and maintain your ideal weight•
Feel great in your bodyNutrition Coaching
The fact is, if you’re not eating right you’ll struggle to meet every one of your
goals. That’s why nutrition coaching is a key component of the SawyerOne
Performance approach to performance improvement. We’ll give you the dietary
information you need to make healthy food choices at every meal, ensuring that
you’ll be at your best all day, without crashing or going hungry.
As a participant in our nutrition coaching, you’ll learn how to:
•
Set and reach dietary goals and establish new eating habits•
Understand and manage your cravings•
Understand your food options and easily incorporate healthy foods into your meal planningDuring the coaching period you’ll have unlimited access to your nutrition coach for questions and guidance. You and your coach will revisit your progress every two months.
