Thank you
“No one should die of bowel cancer, live with chronic bowel
disease or face life with a permanent stoma.”
"
If you feel the same then please fundraise for Bowel &
Cancer Research. We receive no government funding so
money raised by people like you is vital.
"
-
We fund high quality studies to make improvements in the
diagnosis and treatment of cancer and other bowel
diseases.
-
We get important health messages out there.
-
We involve the public in research.
"
Thank you for going the extra mile to help us make a real
difference. You will help us save lives and change lives.

“I'm tired of watching people have to fight this god awful disease - it's time to fight back and raise some money for a good cause. For me, because of my history, there is no cause closer to home than Bowel & Cancer Research”.

Gareth Williams, with Matt Atherton and friends, pay tribute
every 2 years to their friend Nathan Bray who died at 32 of
bowel cancer. In April these amazing lads went for a more vertical effort – a mere 21 Peak
Challenge over 4 days scaling 25,000 feet! Although hampered by appalling weather they raised
nearly £7,000, bringing their total to date to more than
£35,000.
"
Tanya Fattal and friends started fundraising for us in 2012 organising disco nights for teens. In March 2014 the girls organised a highly successful club night for
over 18s at Mason House in Central London. Tanya has mastered the art of persuading venues to be
accommodating on off peak nights as well as successfully publicising her events online via facebook and Just Giving to achieve fantastic numbers and raise over £12,000, bringing the
group’s fundraising to date to over £20,000.
Suzanne Thomas in Merseyside made a moving and exceptionally successful tribute to her fireman husband David, who lost his battle
with bowel cancer in early 2013."
Following David’s death, Suzanne channelled her energies into organising a fitting memorial
night at her local cricket club. She rallied amazing support from local companies to"
put on a sell-out dinner event with entertainment and a superb raffle,"
all of which raised just under £7,000.
