INTRODUCTION

Energy conservation refers to reducing energy

consumption through using less of an energy

service.

Energy conservation differs from efficient

energy use, which refers to using less energy

for a constant service (eg: Driving the same

amount with a higher milage vehicle is an

example of energy efficiency).

Energy conservation and efficiency are both

VOLTAGE CONDITIONING

• In today's business world, bottom line profitability and efficient production are everything.

• Voltage Problems and Lightning Strikes are the cause for most of the 90-95% of Voltage Problems.

• If you step on the water hose momentarily and then step off, you will see a quick INCREASE in the flow of water coming out the end before it returns to normal. That vary same phenomena is happening within all the electrical wires in your facility, hence the term Transient Voltage Surges.

• The V-Blox unit clamps any Voltage Irregularities at approximately 10% above the normal operating voltage level.

• 90-95% of Voltage Problems are generated within your own electrical system caused by your own electrical equipment. Ensure your facility

POWER FACTOR CORRECTION

• Electrical equipment depends on Amperage or Current to operate. • Electrical equipment is as dependent on a clean, efficient electrical

system for the energy as your internal organs are as dependent on clean and efficient arteries and veins. What we are talking about in the electrical world is the Power Factor or the efficiency of the distribution in your electrical system. A poor Power Factor is like having clogged arteries and veins in your body.

• The power factor is the difference between the Voltage and the Current, or how far apart the Current is from the Voltage. Ultimately, you want the Voltage and Current to be almost the same line, hence nearly a 100% efficient distribution system.

• The V-Blox Power Factor Correction Units (PFC’s) will ensure your electrical distribution system is delivering nearly 100% efficient power to your electrical equipment which provides the following benefits listed above.

OUR LIGHTING BENEFITS

LED Case Lighting – Up to 70% LESS Energy – More Light Output – Longer Life

When looking at lighting, there are TWO specific things to consider: 1. Improve the overall look of the facility

(14)
(15)

LIGHTING SOLUTIONS

• We at Total Energy Concepts take both into consideration when moving forward with an energy efficient lighting project.

• We want to install equipment that will not only enhance the overall look of the facility, but will also use the LEAST amount of energy possible and still produce the same amount, if not more light.

• The latest and greatest technology for both energy savings and overall light produced, or installing new fixtures.

• Total Energy Concepts will design, engineer, and install the best possible lighting package for your facility’s needs using the most advanced lighting solutions available from LED technology to super fluorescent technology.

• Total Energy Concepts is a full service, energy efficient, commercial lighting company and can work with every type of situation from Industrial

Manufacturing Companies to Grocery Stores to Restaurants to Residential Homes.

SMARTCOOL BENEFITS

Significantly Reduces Compressor Run Times

Without Affecting Temperature

Saves on Average Approximately 15% KWh and up to

10% KW Demand

(17)

•Air Conditioning is a MAJOR operating expense for every business. The SmartCool product can reduce these costs by saving energy on air conditioning and refrigeration systems without affecting the temperature or humidity of the air conditioned space.

•Working in conjunction with the existing control systems, the SmartCool product takes over or learns the compressor cycle and determines when and for how long that compressor should run to MAXIMIZE the rate of heat removal (Cooling) by optimizing the compressor cycle.

•The cycle of a compressor under a conventional control and the same cycle under the Smart Cool control. You can see the Smart Cool Unit dynamically adjusts the length of each operating cycle in order for the compressor to run more often at shorter intervals and at a higher suction pressure where it is most energy efficient. By doing this…the SmartCool product can produce significant compressor run-time savings without affecting the temperature of the cooled space.

Ensure your Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment is operating at its most efficient state and start saving immediately with the SmartCool Product!

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

• Panel, or Electrical System Maintenance is another aspect of every electrical system that is overlooked.

• If we think back to the water hose analogy….and think of electrical wires in a panel as water hoses…the water would come into the panel, through the breaker, down the wires to the equipment where it is used…and then back to the panel. If the screws were loose at the connections…there

would be water leaking all over the place…EXACTLY! The same thing can happen within electrical systems that are not in tip-top shape.

Loose screws, or poor conductivity can cause equipment malfunctions,
