Economy (1 PLY) Perforated Sorbent Pads & Rolls

Whether the spill is large or small, on land or on water, our meltblown polypropylene pads are perfect for oil spill clean-up.

These cost-effective meltblown sorbents are constructed from a single layer of strong, uniform polypropylene fibers. Hydrocarbon-based fluids stick to the fibers while water is repelled.

Our meltblown sorbents incinerate to less than two percent ash. Also they will not mildew and will float indefinitely, making them ideal for large marine oil-spill clean-up.

Offering the best product consistency and uniformity available anywhere, our meltblown fine fiber sorbents are manufactured using state-of-the-art Exxon technology.

Like all of our meltblown products, our fine fiber product line is made from the purest and highest quality American-made polypropylene.

Outer layers are made from small diameter densely woven polypropylene fibers. The layers are then ultrasonically bonded to a high loft meltblown core.

Pads and rolls are perforated for easy and exact use.

All our meltblown booms are non-linting and are sock-and-net constructed to ensure that all particulate stays safely inside the boom. Each boom comes complete with end rings, snaps and a sturdy rope running their length. Our bilge booms are designed for use in bilge and sump situations. Sweeps are used to be “swept” across open water to remove sheens of oil.

Rag Rugs

Pound-for-pound and dollar-for-dollar, rag rug is one of the most absorbent products available. Constructed from a single layer of natural and synthetic fibers that is then carefully needle-punched and heat-set, our rag rug fabric has proprietary chemistry added which significantly boosts its absorbency.

We also offer these rugs with a slip-resistant poly-backing. Pads are perforated and rolls also may be ordered perforated.

Needle Punch Rugs

This process allows the production of “optimized” needle punch products. As strong as the industry standard but with added absorbency, they are constructed from a single layer of synthetic fibers that are then heavily needle-punched and heat-set. All our needle punch is touch enough to with-stand forklift and foot traffic. Its charcoal color hides the dirt much longer than the typical black needle punch products currently available so it can stay on the job longer.

Rail Mats

Our tough, durable railroad mat is a heavy, oil-only absorbent barrier product produced by bonding three layers of material together. The top layer is a gray UV stabilized needle punch. The second layer is constructed from white melt blown and the base layer is heavy plastic. The entire laminate is then needle punched, which guarantees an even release of rainwater through the fabric while trapping oils.
