Introduction

Hello, this is Stefan, and welcome to Module 1, "The Affiliate Marketing Mastery Blueprint," where I'm going to be sharing with you the overall

strategy for affiliate marketing that you're going to learn inside this program.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

I define affiliate marketing as, “the process of earning a commission by promoting someone else's product or service”. There's literally thousands of companies all over the world that offer affiliate programs for their

products and services, where they will happily pay you a commission for every sale that you generate for them. These affiliate programs provide you, the affiliate, with your own unique affiliate link, which is what you use to promote a product or a service with.

An affiliate link is what allows you and the company to track sales that you generated, and most affiliate links track this for up to 30 days by placing what is called a "cookie" on the other person's computer when they click the link. When you want to promote a product or service, you're going to have to join the company's affiliate program, and then they're going to give you your own unique affiliate link, that's the link that you're going to use in your marketing and in your promoting. When somebody clicks on that link, automatically a cookie is placed on their computer, which is tracking to see if they purchase from you.

that link is what's going to allow both you and the company to track that and then you get paid a commission for that. Don't worry. I'm going to explain this a lot more later on in this program.

Affiliate Marketing is a Win-Win

Affiliate marketing is a great business model, because it's a win/win for both sides. It's a win for you because you earn a commission or a profit by promoting someone else's product or service, and it's a win for the

company because they now have a new sale from a customer that they might not have been able to normally acquire, and of course, it's always a win for the customer as well because they learned about a new product that they will now benefit from, which will now hopefully fill their need or desire, or even solve their problem.

What Are the Benefits of Affiliate Marketing?

 You don't have to invest the time or money to create the product or service. Someone else is doing that for you.

 You don't have to come up with the idea, or be the expert or the authority.

 You don't have to create the sales funnels, or the marketing

materials, or put together the website and all this sort of stuff that's involved in selling the product or service.

 You don't have to deal with the product delivery or customer support. The other company that you're promoting, they take care of all of that for you.

Many companies provide what are called "affiliate resources" for you, such as banners, graphics, email swipes, templates, social media swipes, and content that you can then use to make it easy to promote their products or service.

 You only need to focus on one primary thing, which is sending targeted traffic to someone else and then they will take care of the rest, and that's really the beauty of affiliate marketing, is that you only have to focus on one thing, because building an online business, selling your own products, there's a lot of things you have to deal with, and there's a lot of processes and steps that go into that, so as an affiliate, your only job is basically finding a way to promote their product or service, and send traffic to them.

Examples of Affiliate Marketing

I'm going to be open and transparent with you and share a few examples from my own personal

experience, my own personal businesses, and throughout the rest of this program, you are going to learn and see a lot more examples of myself, and other people, how they've been able to utilize some of these strategies and make money online as an affiliate.

Vitamix Blender

Now, the first example that I have for you is with a Vitamix blender. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Vitamix or not, they're basically really high end blenders that sell for around $500. You might have seen them for sale at Costco or on infomercials on TV, the Home Shopping Networks, and I personally love smoothies, and I'm a very health conscious person, and a few years ago, I invested in a Vitamix blender, and I loved my Vitamix blender, and it just so happens to turn out that Vitamix, the company offers an affiliate program on their website, where they will pay a 15%

commission for every referral sale that I can generate for them.

I basically found this just by doing a Google search online and typing in, "Vitamix Affiliate Program," and I was able to find this page where they have their affiliate program.

They'll pay their customers or people to promote their product, and they'll give you a commission in doing so. The average retail price of a Vitamix blender on their website is roughly around $499. There's some cheaper

options, and there's also some more high end options, as well. This means that for every sale that I generate for Vitamix, I will earn a 15% commission, which is roughly $75 per sale. Knowing this and discovering this affiliate program, I did some research online, and after researching, I discovered that there's actually a big market for Vitamix blenders online. There's a potential to earn money as an affiliate.

I was able to determine that there's a lot of people that are searching for Vitamix. They want to compare it with Blendtec and other blenders out there. There's a lot of people that are interested and considering investing in a Vitamix blender. I decided that I want to promote Vitamix and share my love for the product with others, so I joined their affiliate program, which is free. Most affiliate programs, I think if not all, are free to join. Some of them have an application process, and they might approve you or disapprove you, but I was able to join pretty easily, and then I developed my affiliate marketing strategy to promote the Vitamix blender.

I then decided that I will create content on a blog and on a YouTube

channel to attract highly targeted visitors that are interested in purchasing a Vitamix blender. I decided on YouTube because there's a lot of people that want to see a visual demonstration of Vitamix. It's a very visual product that requires a demo, so YouTube was great for that, and also, I saw that there was a lot of other blogs where they're sharing and talking about, and

reviewing Vitamix blender. I recorded a YouTube video reviewing the Vitamix blender, and shared it with others - my experience of it, how it works, the benefits, and I put it into action.

As you can see, this video is actually done a few years ago, back when I had hair. It's an old apartment that I own and rent out now, but I used that environment to record that video, and basically just talk about the Vitamix blender, and share my experience, and you can see, this video at the time of recording this video, has over 34,000 views on YouTube. 34,603 views, and is really, really popular. It ranks well on YouTube. When people search for it, they're able to find this video. Now, in the video, I tell people how to buy a Vitamix online, and I provide my affiliate link in the video. I then promote the video as well.

Throughout the video, I have a call to action. I mention to people, "If you want to get a Vitamix, then click the link in the description of the video," in which case that's an affiliate link. I'll explain all this stuff a lot later on in the program, how to do YouTube strategies and blogging starts, etc., but

basically, I provide my affiliate link and I did some promotion and marketing of the video as well, so that I can rank it on YouTube and make it popular, and attract a lot of people to it.

Now, like I said, this video ends up getting over 30,000 views, and it generates me thousands of dollars of commissions that Vitamix happily pays me. In fact, this video, I haven't touched it in years, and it continues making me money because every single day, every single week and month, there's more and more people that are watching this video, finding it, purchasing the Vitamix blender through my affiliate link, and it's totally passive income for me. I continue making money as an affiliate.

It's a win for Vitamix, because I'm providing a customer for them, it's a win for me because I earn a commission in doing so, and it's a win for the customer because now they're getting a fantastic product which will be a part of their everyday life that they can now benefit from. Now, the other strategy is I also write an article on my blog, and I've reviewed the blender, shared, again, with others, my experience of it, how it works, the benefits, etc.

In the article, I tell people how to buy a Vitamix online, and I provide my affiliate link, and I then promote and market the articles well so that I can attract people. The main benefit of publishing content articles online is leveraging the search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Bing, because when people search on them, they can easily find the content that I'm producing, and be able to find the articles, and then purchase through my affiliate link.

Sure enough, this article that I have on my blog, that I published years ago, it continues attracting thousands of visitors and generates me thousands of dollars in commissions, as well. That's an example of promotion a product like Vitamix, how I was able to become an affiliate, and promote and earn money by sharing the product with other people.

The 100 Day Challenge

Another great example is an online training program called “The 100 Day Challenge." It's one of my favorite online courses, and I have personally participated in this program many times throughout the years, and it's really made a significant impact on my life. I discovered that the 100 Day

Challenge has an affiliate program which pays a 50% commission of every $147 sale, which is roughly a $74 commission. I then decide to attract targeted visitors and promote the 100 Day Challenge through my blog, YouTube channel, social media, and my email list, which are all strategies you're going to learn throughout this program.

Again, I do this because I want to share my experience with others and have other people benefit from this amazing course that I was able to benefit from. Through utilizing a lot of these strategies that I'm going to teach you throughout this program, I effectively attract thousands of targeted visitors through YouTube, my blog, social media such as

Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. I also promote the 100 Day Challenge through my email list of followers and subscribers who are interested in achieving their goals. Through my marketing efforts, I'm able to reach thousands of people online, and share the benefit and value of the course with other people, while earning a commission in doing so.

Here's just some examples, some visual examples of different promotions that I've done for the 100 Day Challenge.

I've actually done many throughout the years, because like I said, I've been through this program many, many times, and my audience, people online, really seem to enjoy it. Again, it's a win/win but as you can see, there's a YouTube video that I did, I've done a few, but this one had 3500 views at the time of me recording this right now. I did a tweet back in 2013, as an example, just sharing how its open, and providing my affiliate link. You can see an Instagram video, and I've done some Instagram posts, so these are all great channels to promote as an affiliate, which I'm going to teach you throughout this course, and also, a Facebook post; that Facebook post that I did on July 1st, 2014, reached over 38,000 people, which is pretty cool. Here is just some examples of what affiliate marketing promotion and

Here's a blog post that I've done, as well, just sharing a review of the 100 Day Challenge because there's a lot of people that are searching for it, and wanting to know more about it.

I share my experience in a video of the benefits of it, and promote it with my affiliate link, as well. You can also see an email that I sent out to my email list, basically just telling people that the 100 Day Challenge has become available, and provide my affiliate link throughout the email, as well, and you can see, I sent 1 email that 5000 people opened the email, and 1200 people clicked on the link within the email, as well.

Email marketing, blogging, social media, YouTube - these are all things that I'm going to be teaching you throughout this program, so I just wanted to show you some examples, just so you can see what the overall strategy is of what I teach, and just some examples of affiliate marketing, so you can apply it later on throughout the program.

What Are The Results?

This specific program, the 100 Day Challenge, I've earned over $42,000, in US dollars, throughout the years promoting it. Recent promotion that I did at the time of this video, I was able to earn over 3200…sorry, $3300 US, and so fantastic way, just by doing the marketing efforts that I've shown you so far, the examples, I was able to generate a significant amount of money just as an affiliate.

Again, it's a win/win. Other people get a benefit from this amazing program. The GoalsGuy and the 100 Day Challenge company gets to benefit

because I'm sending them customers and traffic to them, and I also benefit, too, because I get to earn a commission by sharing something that I'm passionate about, and I didn't have to create the program, I didn't have to deliver the product, I didn't have to come up with the idea, I didn't have to do the customer support or anything like that. All I had to do is just share something that I believed could benefit and help other people. It has benefited many, many people that I've shared it with, which is really cool.

Examples of Affiliate Marketing from Other

Businesses

I Love Fitness Facebook Page

I have a Facebook page, it's called "I Love Fitness," and this is a Facebook page that I built just in the fitness market. It's not even related in any way to my other businesses or my other brand, my Project Life Mastery one, but I was able to build up this page just by sharing some of the strategies I'm going to share with you in this program, to attract over 160,000 followers at the time of me recording this video. These are all highly targeted fitness enthusiasts, and because I've built up this fan page, and by the way, you can do a search for it on Facebook if you want, just search for "I Love Fitness." You'll be able to probably find it that way.

Amazon’s Affiliate Program

I'm able to promote supplements on Amazon through Amazon's affiliate program, and earn a commission for every sale. There's many different affiliate programs out there that I'm going to share with you throughout this course, but Amazon, the world's number 1 online retailer, they have an affiliate program called "Amazon Associates," where they allow anyone to promote products on Amazon. I was able to promote supplements, I was able to promote additional products or services that will benefit them, such as fitness gear, weight loss courses, muscle gaining courses, as well as more nutritional supplements. That's another example of building and attracting people to you that are interested in something, and then promoting and selling to them as an affiliate.

Not only that, but you can also promote books on Amazon by writing reviews on your blog and earning a commission from Amazon's affiliate program. Another thing I'm going to share with you as well, so here's some blog posts that I've done throughout the years, just sharing my experience and review of different books that I've read.

book. Another is by Brian Tracy is called "Maximum Achievement," and because of what I'm teaching inside this course, I was able to promote these articles on my blogs, so when people search on Google, the search engines, they find them, and sure enough, I have an affiliate link in these blog posts. When people are interested in a book, they want to read more about it, they read the blog post, and they click the link to go and buy on Amazon, well, that's my affiliate link, so I earn a commission when

someone purchases through that link. Again, very, very cool. This is just affiliate marketing, and different examples of how you can earn money as an affiliate.

Affiliate Marketing Results

Now, affiliate marketing has massive potential, and many companies host contests for their affiliates, as part of their affiliate program. They provide prizes for affiliates that will generate the most sales, and so there's a lot of different products and programs or companies where they'll put together a contest, and as you can see here, here is a contest for an online course called "App Empire," which is basically an online course that teaches people how to develop and sell mobile apps on the App Store. They put together this company, "100,000 Prize List," a sales contest. As you can see from the screenshot, the first placed price of whoever generates the most sales will get a $45,000 cash bonus.

Second place price, $25,000 cash. Third place, 12,500, all the way down to 20th place, and this is really cool because a lot of affiliate programs,

depending on the product and everything, and the industry, they'll put together crazy prizes. I've been a part of different contests where they're giving away a Tesla car, they're giving away a trip to Richard Branson's island, Necker Island, which is worth tens of thousands of dollars. They'll put together this whole list of prizes, it could be MacBook’s and iPad's, and all that sort of stuff, and they do that to incentivize affiliates to promote their product, and to really be aggressive in promoting it. This specific contest that you see here for App Empire, I was an affiliate for it, and I actually won first place.

I've had some cases where I placed 3rd place, or 5th place, or 10th place, but earning first place was a huge win for me, as my career as an affiliate, and I was able to win that $45,000 cash prize, as a result of this, as well as generating tens of thousands of dollars in commissions promoting this program. Then also, the people that purchased through me got some other bonuses from me, as well. It was a great win for them, because a lot of them had been able to change their life and build their own online business on mobile apps, and so it was just a really great experience for all 3 parties involved.

As you can see, my name's right there, first place. My name's Stefan

James Pylarinos, but I often just go by Stefan James, but I was able to win first place, which was really amazing. Like I said, there's a lot of potential through affiliate marketing, there's some advanced strategies and things like that, that I'll be sharing with you, as well, and through effectively building a large email list and online following over several years, of

targeted subscribers, you can have some really, really big paydays. These are some of the results that I've gotten over several years of building my online businesses, being an affiliate, but as you can see, this one affiliate program here, I've been able to generated over $170,000 that are net commissions.

That's commissions that I've been able to earn within about a 1 year period of time, from 2014 to 2015, and I've had many big paydays since then, but these are just some of the wins and successes that I've had along the way, just to show you what's possible. This is what's possible. Being an affiliate, you can build a 6 figure or 7 figure online business, just through affiliate marketing. This is something that I wanted to share, as a result, because it was one of the biggest wins that I've ever had as an affiliate, and I've had many more since then, but this is actually an email that I received from Cash Pro Notifications, for a wire transfer. For very large sums of money, through different affiliate programs, they're not able to send you that money through PayPal or anything. They've got to send it as a wire transfer.

This was in the amount of $96,000, US dollars that I received at some point in 2015. This was a huge day for me. I still remember vividly receiving that sum of money, and I actually live in Canada, I live in Vancouver, so

ended up being over $100,000, so receiving a wire transfer for over $100,000 is something that I'll never forget, and I've had many other promotions and successes since then which is really cool, but this is something that I'll never forget, and again, it just shows you the potential. This is what's possible when you invest long term with what I'm sharing with you inside this program.

Now, I also have a lot of experience and have helped a lot of affiliates produce results, as well. You may or may not know this, but I also own the #1 online Kindle publishing course called, "K Money Mastery," and I have a lot of fantastic online courses on Kindle publishing, online publishing, and I have hundreds of affiliates that promote my courses through many of the strategies that I teach them, and will be teaching inside this program. As you can see, these are just screenshots from a Clickbank account, and you're able to see all the different affiliate nicknames of people that promote my products, and earn a commission in doing so.

I not only have a lot of experience myself, as an affiliate, but I've worked with hundreds and hundreds of affiliates now to promote my products, other people's products, so that's how I know a lot of what I'm sharing with you, a lot of these strategies, they work. They're proven, not just for me, but many other people, and I'm really excited to be sharing a lot of this blueprint, and a lot of these strategies with you throughout this program.

If I Can Do It, You Can Too!

Now, the main message that I want you to get, just by showing some of those examples, is that if I can do it, then you can, too. You know, learning how to market online as an affiliate can change your life, and if you're willing to work hard and apply what you learned throughout this program, it will change your life, as well.

Some of these results have taken me years to achieve. I want to make that clear. It never happened overnight. I've never been able to get rich quick. It's always been years in the process, but again, if you're willing to learn, and apply what is taught in this program, then you can fast track your success, your results, through the lessons taught inside this program, and

hopefully be able to get results a lot faster than I've been able to achieve myself. Again, this is not a get rich quick program. I don't believe in that, I don't believe in getting rich quick. It takes time, patience, and hard work to achieve any meaningful results in your life..

I will also mention that I will be completely open and transparent in my training, showing you more details, specifics and examples throughout my own business, and others that I've worked with, as well. Throughout this program, I'm going to show you a lot of stuff that you're going to be able to see and model, and copy, and can help guide you to build your own affiliate marketing business. Now, let's get into some of the blueprint.

Master Skills of Affiliate Marketing

Attraction

Attraction is the first step of the Affiliate Marketing Mastery blueprint. It consists of a few things:

 It's attracting visitors or traffic to your blog or website.

 It's attracting fans, followers, or subscribers.

 It's attracting leads and subscribers to your email list.

 Without traffic, visitors, subscribers, and followers, than you'll have nobody to promote or market anything to.

Promotion

Now, promotion, on the other hand is:

 Promoting, selling, or marketing a product or a service.

 Endorsing, recommending, or reviewing a product or service.

 Successful promotion always involves effectively meeting the needs of your visitors’ traffic subscribers or followers. Very important, and again, these are all things we're going to cover a lot more in depth, throughout this program.

What's the Affiliate Marketing Success Formula?

Well, what it comes down to is:

Attraction + Promotion = $$$

You need both, and they both work together.

Attraction Strategies

Now, let's go a little bit deeper into attraction. There's 4 primary attraction strategies that I will be teaching you throughout this course. There's

actually many more strategies, but these are the 4 most basic ones that will help you get started with your affiliate marketing business, that I often

recommend:

 Blogging

 YouTube

 Social Media - the main strategies that I teach and utilize for that are Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, but really, any social media

platform there can be an attraction strategy, because wherever there's people, YouTube, for example, has over 1 billion active people that are active on YouTube watching videos. The search engines have billions of people that are searching for different content, Facebook has billions of people, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Wherever there's people, there's a strategy for attracting them, and be able to monetize that and promote in some way.

 Email Marketing – building an email list, and then promoting and selling products through email. Now, the best way to attract visitors, traffic, followers, and subscribers is through creating high quality content that adds value to people. High quality content can consist of information in the form of articles, videos, audios, images, books, entertainment, etc. Essentially, anything that is helpful and provides value to a specific demographic. I'm going to be more into the

different strategies of creating content in a later module throughout this course, but the best strategies that I recommend for attracting people through high quality content is through the 4 primary attraction strategies that are taught inside this course.

Not all of these strategies are required for success, so for example, you can just focus on blogging, or just focus on social media if you choose. You don't have to do them all. However, I do recommend learning and

mastering all four of these strategies if you want the best results. You'll just get much better results if you're willing to utilize all of the different

strategies that are available to you.

Promotion Strategies

Direct Response vs Indirect Marketing

Direct Response Marketing is designed to generate an immediate

response through a call to action. For example, it's saying, "You want to learn how to lose weight? Then great, click here to get this amazing weight loss program." It's a more direct call to action, where you're asking

someone to click on a link, you're asking someone to buy something. It's very direct.

Indirect Marketing is when you promote a product or service without

explicitly asking or telling someone to do anything. An example of this is maybe linking to a book that is mentioned in a blog post, without trying to actively asking someone to click on it or check it out. Maybes it's having a book review, and then just linking to some text to the book on Amazon which is an affiliate link, and then earning a commission from doing that. Both of these strategies, direct response and indirect marketing, are very effective and I’m going to be teaching them throughout this program as well. Now, let's talk about some successful promotion strategies.

Promotion Strategy Success Factors

Your success promoting a product or service is based on three factors:

Marketing of the Product or Service.

Conversion Rate - the % of visitors that buy the product or service.

 Make sure that the product or service that you're promoting, the website is good, it's attractive; their sales page, their offer and their marketing is good. When you send people to someone else's product or service, does it convert? If you send people to someone's product, and nobody buys it, and you're sending targeted quality traffic to them, and it doesn't convert, then it doesn't matter how much traffic that you send if the website is ugly, and the offer isn't good, and the product isn't good.

 Make sure that you always choose products or services that have good conversions.

Pre-selling - your ability to promote or sell the product or service to your

visitors before they even visit the product or service.

 For example, sharing on your blog, social media, email list, and sharing your results, your experience, or maybe reviewing the product. Those are all things you're doing to pre-sell people on the product itself.

 By the time they get to the website, they're going to have been sold by you, and are going to be sold on the website, as well. It's also just effectively communicating the benefits of the product or service.

 The more active role that you play in promoting and selling inside your content, or to your audience or visitors, then the higher your conversions are going to be, as well.

The quality of the traffic, visitor or subscriber.

(a) Targeted - their interest or desire for the product or service. For

example, if you're going to sell hockey equipment online, and you're sending traffic to people that are interested in baseball, well, that's not very targeted. There's a bit of disconnect there. It's not totally relevant. If you have a list and an audience of people that are into baseball, then you're selling hockey stuff, those are two different niches. Those are two different markets, two different sports. Of

course, if you're promoting hockey equipment, you're going to want to find people that are already interested in hockey equipment, they're passionate about hockey, they're lookingfor hockey equipment. If you send that traffic, that's going to be a much more targeted person to sell on hockey equipment, because there's already going to be a connection there. They're going to be more likely to buy. Does it meet their needs? Does it solve their problem? Very, very important to ask yourself with the traffic that you're sending to a product or service.

(b) Relationship – the trust that is established between you and the

visitor

 Your email list, your fans on social media, and the relationship you have with them. You've got to ask yourself “Do they trust or believe in you? Do they trust you? Do they believe in you? Because if they trust you, they're going to follow through on what you say. They're going to listen to your endorsement, or your recommendation. Do they fell that you're trying to help them? Do they feel that you're trying to add value to them and by you sharing this product or service, that it's a quality product, that you believe, and they believe will actually help them to meet their needs, or solve their problem?

 Does your endorsement or recommendation mean anything to them? Very important. You want to make sure, again, that relationship is strong, and one of the ways you establish that is by adding value.

The volume of traffic, visitors and subscribers.

 The # of traffic, visitors, and subscribers that you are sending the offer to

 Do you have enough traffic? Do you have enough subscribers or visitors? Obviously the more traffic that you have, then the more effective your promotions are going to be, because the more money you're going to be able to make. You're going to be able to send more highly qualified, targeted, high quality traffic to a product through your affiliate link.

Just to go over the Affiliate Marketing Success Formula one more time, as I mentioned before:

Attraction + Promotion = $$$ Well, to break it down even further…

Attraction = quality, targeted traffic or visitors + high conversion rate = $$$ That's the formula, that's what you're going to be learning throughout the Affiliate Marketing Mastery blueprint program. We're going to be diving into this blueprint in a lot more detail throughout this program, showing you how to do it in the upcoming modules, but it's very important to keep this in mind, and remember this blueprint for the future.
