ACA training course

Each year we recruit graduates to undertake a three year training contract in order to become a Chartered Accountant. Training is undertaken with leading training providers and consists of periods of block release to attend courses with exams being spread over the three year period. You will need to be prepared to study in your own time to make sure that you get the most from your studies and achieve exam success. We will aim to ensure that you are given opportunities to develop a broad range of accountancy and management skills if you can meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 300 UCAS Points • At least 3 A Levels (preferably Maths related subjects)

• Minimum of a 2:1 Degree (any discipline considered)

• Excellent communication skills

• Effective time and task management skills • Ability to deal with people

• Prepared to work hard both practically and academically

ACCA training course

If you have, or are expecting good A Level results which include maths, then this route will be just for you. The qualification takes 5 years to complete.

Training is with leading training providers, this is combined with on the job training covering a wide range of audit, tax and accounts work. You will need to be prepared to study in your own time. Can you meet the following criteria?

• 5 GCSE passes, including Maths and English Language all at a minimum grade C

• 2 A Level passes, both a minimum

grade B, preferably including Maths or Business Studies

• Good literacy and numeracy skills • Commitment

• Good communication skills

CFAB training course

If you’re thinking about a career in accountancy, this could be just the thing you’re after. The CFAB training course allows you to join Kreston Reeves for 18 months and gain certificates in Finance, Accounting and Business. It’s a great way to advance your business and finance career, as it involves the same six modules that form the first stage of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA) qualification. And it’s entirely funded by us. Please bear in mind that you’ll need to study in your own time to prepare for your exams and will need to meet the following criteria. • 3 A Level passes, at minimum grade B, preferably including Maths of Business Studies

• 5 GCSE passes, including Maths and English Language, all at minimum grade A • Excellent communication skills

Trainee Chartered Financial

Planner

Becoming a Trainee Chartered Financial Planner within our Financial Planning Department is the perfect opportunity to gain an industry-recognised financial planning qualification through the Chartered Insurance Institute. Our Financial Planning

Department has achieved “Chartered Financial Planner” status, meaning you can be confident you’ll be training with one of the UK’s leading financial planning firms. Please bear in mind that you’ll need to study in your own time to prepare for your exams and will need to meet the following criteria. • 2:1 degree - preferably (but not essential) in Maths, Business Studies or Economics • 3 A levels, all a minimum B grade - preferably including Maths, Business Studies or Economics

• Excellent communicator and strong interpersonal skills

• A fantastic work ethic (driven and self motivated)

• Excellent attention to detail • Professional and confident manner

ATT training course

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have excellent attention to detail and be highly motivated. You will be working and studying at the same time so a strong academic history with a minimum of 2 Bs at A-Level is essential. In tax, deadlines are unavoidable, so you will also need to work well under pressure and most importantly, you should be a team player and willing to support your colleagues. You will need to meet the following criteria:

• 2 A Level passes, both a minimum grade B, preferably including Maths of Business Studies

• 5 GCSE passes, including Maths and English Language, all at a minimum grade B

• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

• A clear interest in business finance • Ability to deal with confidential information in a professional manner
