Q and A

Here under follows the most frequently asked questions and the answers

Q: Why are we using a digital music solution?

A: We need a legal and modern music solution.

Q: What devices can I use for playing music in the club?

A: You can use any IOS or android smartphone/tablet

Q: What happens if I don’t have a device or for some reason can’t use my own?

A: There will be a tablet for emergency use which contains the actual release for all SATS Concept and LES MILLS™ classes. For own music we strongly recommend that you have a backup.

Q: Why do I have to use the Swedebeat App when I play the music?

A: The distribution of license fees for music rights is based on the actual tracks played in your class. The Swedebeat App recognises each track by its “MP3-tag” and collects the data on music distribution.

Q: Can I still use the music from my own CD’s

A: Yes, you can import them to your iTunes library via a CD-burner and upload the tracks in the App.

Q: What music can I play in my classes?

A: SATS provides the music for SATS Concept classes. For general playlists you have the possibility to use your own music library and/or the library provided by the Swedebeat App. The music you use for own mixes comes from your own music library.

Q: I am using Spotify playlists. What do I do now?

A: Since Spotify Premium is a service for private use only, you can’t use it for commercial use in classes. When making your playlist, you have the possibility to use your own music library and/or the library provided by the Swedebeat App.

Q: I don’t want to buy a lot of music on my own, how am I helped by the digital music solution?

A: The Swedebeat App provides you with music that you can use for making your own playlists. These can be based on Swedebeat music only or combined with your own purchased music.

Q: Where can I buy music?

A: In addition to buying tracks and albums on iTunes or similar you can find ready training music mixes on:

- www.swedebeat.se - www.move-ya.com - www.multitraxmusic.com

Q: I don’t know how to mix my own music, what options do I have?

A: SATS Academy offers Mix Meister workshops for GXI’s. In addition to this several ready mixes are offered as support for example to Indoor Running, Cycling, Cycling Interval and Pure Strength which you are free to use.

Q: What address do I use for my account?

A: You can only use a sats or elixia email address.

Q: Do I pay for the music and movies myself?

A: No, SATS pays for all music played, unless you download LES MILLS material you are not supposed to use (not active licensed instructor)

Q: When can I download the upcoming release?

A: The upcoming release is usually released in the web shop ca 3-4 weeks prior to launch date (start of Winter, Spring and Fall schedule)
