GAUGE

24 sts x 32 rnds in stockinette on larger needles = 4 x 4 in / 10 x 10 cm.

Adjust needle sizes to obtain correct gauge if necessary.

BODY

With CC1 and smaller circular, CO 222 (238, 254, 270, 286) sts. Join, being careful not to twist cast-on row; pm for beginning of rnd. Work around in k1, p1 ribbing for 2 in / 5 cm (all sizes). Change to larger

circular and knit 2 rnds. Pm at each side with 111 (119, 127, 135, 143) sts each for front and back. Work around in pattern following Chart 1. Begin at side of front, repeating from A to B to marker at opposite side. Begin again as shown and rep from A to B to end of rnd.

Note: The pattern will not match at the sides (the center front and back are marked on the chart; make sure pattern is centered on front and back).

After completing Chart 1, continue in stockinette with CC2 until body measures 9½ (9¾, 9¾, 10¼, 10¾) in / 24 (25, 25, 26, 27) cm. Now work follow- ing Chart 2. Begin at side of front, repeating from A to B to marker at opposite side. Begin again as shown and rep from A to B to end of rnd. After com- pleting Chart 2, continue in stockinette with CC3 until body measures 17 (17¾, 18¼, 18¼, 18½) in / 43 (45, 46, 46, 47) cm. BO 5 sts on each side of each side marker = 10 sts centered at each underarm. Set body aside while you knit sleeves.

SLEEVES

With CC1 and smaller dpn, CO 48 (48, 52, 52, 56) sts. Divide sts onto dpn and join.

Work around in k1, p1 ribbing for 2 in / 5 cm (all sizes). On the last rnd, increase 3 sts evenly spaced around = 51 (51, 55, 55, 59) sts. Change to larger dpn and knit 2 rnds. Work around in pattern following Chart 1. Count out from the center to determine where the pattern begins for your size. Make sure pattern is centered on sleeve.

Sleeve Shaping: On every 8th (7th, 6th, 6th, 5th) rnd, increase 2 sts centered on underarm = 81 (87, 93, 99, 105) sts.

After completing Chart 1, continue in stockinette with CC2 until body measures 9½ (9¾, 9¾, 10¼, 10¾) in / 24 (25, 25, 26, 27) cm. Now work follow- ing Chart 2. After completing Chart 2, continue in

stockinette with CC3 until body measures 17 (17¾, 18¼, 18¼, 18½) in / 43 (45, 46, 46, 47) cm. BO 10 sts centered on underarm.

Set sleeve aside while you knit second sleeve the same way.

YOKE

Continue with CC3. Arrange pieces on larger circu- lar as follows: Pm 1, first sleeve, pm 2, front, pm 3, second sleeve, pm 4, back = 344 (372, 400, 428, 456) sts total.

Raglan Shaping: Knit 1 rnd without decreasing. On next rnd, decrease as follows: At 1st marker: Sl 1 as if to k1tbl, k1tbl, psso; knit until 2 sts before 2nd mark-

er, k2tog, sl m; sl 1 as if to k1tbl, k1tbl, psso; knit until 2 sts before 3rd marker, k2tog, sl m, sl 1 as if to k1tbl, k1tbl, psso; knit until 2 sts before 4th marker, k2tog, sl m, sl 1 as if to k1tbl, k1tbl, psso; knit until 2 sts before marker 1, k2tog = end of rnd. Rep this rnd once more = 328 (356, 384, 412, 440) sts. Now work following Chart 3. Mark center of each sleeve and count out to determine beginning of rnd. Begin on front and back as shown, and, at the same time, con- tinue decreasing for raglan as est. The pattern will not match at raglan lines. Rep the raglan decreases on every rnd 1 (2, 3, 4, 4) times more = 320 (340, 360, 380, 408) sts rem. Now decrease on every other rnd 19 (22, 23, 24, 26) times = 164 (164, 176, 188, 200) sts rem. After completing Chart 4, continue in stockinette with CC4.
