My current position involves conducting my own independent research, supervising students, teach-ing undergraduate courses, writteach-ing proposals and managteach-ing the day-to-day runnteach-ing of our research group, of which I am leader. Currently I am at stage 3 (established or independent researcher) of the career phase.

Research Funding
To date, I have not received any major funding for my research career. However, in April 2014 I played a major role in coordinating and writing a Marie Sklodowska-Curie âĂŞ Innovative Training Network proposal (coordinated by Prof. Heikki JÃďrvinen). If funded, this proposal will fund 12 PhD students. The proposal involves 4 universities, 5 private companies, and two weather services spread across five European Countries.
