My current range of workshops and short courses given below do not have a set curriculum but are intended to develop your current skills by equipping you to move on to a higher level by addressing your current skills gaps and by identifying and teaching you new skills and techniques geared towards your own learning goals.

Each of these 3 email correspondence courses can be tailored to your precise needs within the basic course via an overview questionnaire provided at the time of booking.
The 3-month course includes:
6 thorough email responses/appraisals
2 hrs max telephone support at set times if required
a wealth of leads, links, resources and information by mail, cd, or email challenging assignments set to meet agreed and specific objectives An ‘end-of-term’ report at the end of the 3 months
Where appropriate, photographic examples as inspiration throughout course
The 3 month period is taken as one block without breaks unless exceptional circumstances arise.
You can also customize your own course by splitting the 3-month period between 2 or 3 (max) different modules.
Students must please bear in mind that technical issues specifically related to individual camera models, and similar equipment issues cannot be addressed within these courses.

Digital restoration and retouching tuition
1 day practical workshop 1 day £140 Thankfully, the techniques used in Photoshop to digitally restore old and faded photographs are easy to learn but regular practice and a light touch are required in order for your work to really look expert. This intensive workshop shows how to make creases, cracks, spills and tears invisible to the naked eye, and how to give new life to those old, faded photographs. Ideal for those who wish to archive their family history or present a gift of montaged images.

Exploration days
1 day practical workshop 1 day £140 Do you have a burning ambition to test out a project before committing? Want to play with lighting styles, or experiment in a creative laboratory of ideas and techniques. It’s your day, you decide. You provide the subject, media and ideas, I provide the support, the space, the equipment and guidance, and the tea & biscuits of course.
