2010 – Present,

Media Services and Public Outreach Support to JSC “Populi”

From November, 2010 Publicity Group is awarded the contract to provide media services and public outreach support to the largest retail chain supermarket networks in Georgia JSC “Populi”. Services include, but are not limit to: Media buying and relations, social media and online PR services, outdoor and BTL.

Information support through textual, visual and video press release was provided by the Press Release and Corporate News distribution Agency – PUBLICITY.GE owned by Publicity Group.

March 2011, Media Support and Facilitation to the Conference

On March 12, 2011, at Radisson Hotel, Tbilisi, Publicity Group provided media management and mediafacilitation support to the conference through the contract from the Targeted Initiative for Georgia’s implemented “Support Reintegration of Georgian Returning Migrants and the Implementation of the EU-Georgia Readmission Agreement” program funded by the EU and supported by the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons form the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia. Conference was attended by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Georgia, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Georgia, Minister of Internally Displaced Persons form the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Deputy Head of the State Commission on Migration and other local and international key officials.

Implemented Public Outreach Campaigns

August 2009 – June 2010, Professional Public Relations Services for the UNDP Inclusive Financial Systems in Georgia Project

On August 25, 2009 Publicity Group signed a contract with the UNDP to implement 10 month public outreach campaign for its Inclusive Financial Systems in Georgia project (IFSG) funded by the European Union, designed to support the growth and development of income generation activities of the vulnerable populations, particularly small-scale farmers, women, internally displaced persons (IDPs) and resettled persons, residing in the Shida Kartli, Mtskheta - Mtianeti and Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti regions of Georgia through providing them with the access to microfinance from selected partner microfinance organizations and provision of business advisory services to enhance the business skill capacities of the IFSG’s potential borrowers and loan recipients.

Publicity Group, as a PR and Media Service Provider elaborated and is in the process of implementing comprehensive public outreach campaign, including: the design of project promotional materials (posters, flyers, banners, mugs, T-shirts, bags); the organization of information and briefing sessions for media representatives (60 media representatives), microfinance and business training providers (30 representatives) in Zugdidi, Gori and Tbilisi; creation and placing of newspaper advertisements, PSA’s, radio advertisements and press releases to local and nationwide print and electronic media during the September 2009 – June 2010.

November 2009, 20th Anniversary of the Convention on the

Rights of the Child by UNICEF

On November 20, 2009 Hotel “Iveria Radisson” hosted the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Children with the special events, including presentation of the work that has been done in Georgia in this direction, press conference, photo exhibition of children’s work accompanied by live music, seminar for children and with the performance of “Fingers Theatre”.

As an event organizer, Publicity Group was involved in all stages of the event planning and was responsible not only for production of promotional materials, including invitations and present packages for the guests, but relations with media.

Event was attended by the donor community and representatives of local and international organizations working in the field of children rights, Georgian parliamentarians, ambassadors and 17 journalists from nationwide print and electronic media.

September 2009, Launching the New Product by Roche

On September 16, 2009 Hotel “Sheraton Metekhi Palace” hosted the scientific – conference “New Ways of Treatment

of Rheumatics Arthritis”. The conference was organized on

behalf of the Hoffmann-La Roche and was aiming introduction of new preparation “Actemra” to Georgian market.

As an event organizer, Publicity Group was involved in all stages of the event planning, especially concentrating on media relations, starting production of media advisories and personal calls to journalists, hosting the journalists during the event and preparation of press releases for the event. As a result, fifteen print and electronic media attended and prepared information about the event. Special guest speaker from the Great Britain, Mr. Endrew Ostar, representing the Cambridge University attended the event, along with the 70 representatives from Georgian medicine sector as well as representatives of local and international organizations working in the field.

May 2009, Georgia Race for the Cure®

On May 10, 2009, the Georgia Race for the Cure®, a partnership between the Women Wellness Care Alliance HERA and Susan G Komen for the Cure®, took place on Turtle Lake (Tbilisi). The project was organized by the HERA, Presenting sponsors included the National Screening Center and the John Snow Research and Training Institute within the scope of the Healthy Women in Georgia Program financed by the United States Agency for International Development. Publicity Group was in charge of implementing the project’s PR component and simultaneously featured as the communication campaign sponsor.

The goal of the event was to raise awareness in Georgia about breast cancer and the methods of early detection. Within the scope of Georgia Race for the Cure® Publicity Group created a number of promo materials (flyers, posters, banners, invitations), planned and ran the communication and advertising campaign of the whole project, intensively related to media which resulted in excellent coverage of the 10 May event by 5 National televisions (Georgian Public Broadcasting, Imedi, Alania, Rustavi 2, Maestro), 4 radio stations (Georgian Radio, Apkhazeti’s Voice, Green Wave, Imedi), 4 printed editions (24 Hours, Aversi Magazine, Georgian Times, Georgia Today) and a number of electronic publications and online portals. Within the framework of the project In addition to the Race, on May 8, Nina Ananiashvili hosted a benefit performance for breast cancer screening at the Tbilisi Z. Paliashvili Opera and Ballet State Theatre. On May 7, the Theatre hosted a press conference about the performance at Red Hall, which was organized by Publicity Group together with the ballet’s press centre.

As a communication campaign sponsor Publicity Group created and managed Georgia Race for the Cure’s website www.raceforthecure.ge ran the internet banner advertising campaign to Georgian internet and distributed media advisories and text and video press releases through the Press Release and Corporate News distribution Agency – PUBLICITY.GE owned by Publicity Group.

March 2009, Photo Exhibition – All We Want is Peace

On March 26, 2009, the grand opening of a one month long photo exhibition – “All We Want is Peace” took place at the Amirani Cinema Hall. The exhibition, which displayed children's photos about the damage caused by the August war, was organized by Publicity Group on behalf of UNICEF. The objective of the project was to deliver the pain and sorrow these talented young photographers experienced during the conflict days to broad society and media.

All the necessary works for organizing the exhibition were implemented by Publicity Group. These works included choosing of the exhibition hall, preparation, print and distribution of invitations; invitation of famous Georgian photographers and media representatives, creation of the exhibition scenario, preparation of a slide-show etc. Publicity Group enriched the photo exhibition scenario with live classical music, face painting for the children, attendance of famous Georgian photographers who addressed the children in their speeches and thanked the organizers for presenting them this joyful and memorable day.

Publicity Group took care of the media attendance component as well which resulted in the coverage of the event by all local televisions and a number of Georgian and English language newspapers. March 2009, Media Tour and Press Conference in Goodwill

On March 19 2009, Publicity Group organized a media tour and a press conference in Goodwill Hypermarket on behalf of Goodwill Company.

The aim of the activity was to inform media representatives that Goodwill was the first Company in Georgia who integrated HACCP standards in retail sales. It must be mentioned that Publicity Group had to fit the timeline of two days for bringing about all the necessary works including banner design and print and media relations. 15 Journalists took part in the media tour and press conference, most of them represented the spheres of business and economy which was Goodwill’s priority, though some of them represented social media services and informational agencies who also got interested in HACCP standards and the issues of product safety. All the journalists covered the obtained information in their stories and reports.

October 2008, Media Against Measles and Rubella Campaign

From 15 to 21 October 2008 Publicity Group implemented UNICEF’s contract partnering with the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs “Media Against Measles and Rubella” which implied the arrangement of media tours and seminars in Tbilisi and Georgia’s three Regional cities – Kutaisi (Imereti), Telavi (Kakheti) and Batumi (Adjara). The goal of the project was to provide media representatives with relevant information about measles and rubella virus and the role of immunization. For organizing the above mentioned, Publicity Group elaborated a PR strategy, which included the motivation plan of journalist’s active attendance and the arrangement of technical issues of the campaign. Publicity Group united the media tour and seminar project under the strong slogan – “Media Against Measles and Rubella”. As a result in Tbilisi and in all three above mentioned regions 52 journalists representing most popular local media service from each region attended. Souvenirs with the campaign’s slogan and logotype (bags, cups, pens and notebooks) and certificates were prepared and given to journalists. All the technical requirements including press-conference halls, presentation equipments (lap top, projector, microphones etc.), lunch, microbus etc for all three regions were arranged by Publicity Group.
