Developments at IPR
For over 20 years we have developed and engineered
components for automation, assembly and handling
technologies - from standardized modules through
to customer-specifi c solutions and complete system
applications. Our dedicated designers with the
expertise acquired from numerous assignments
provide competent counselling and professionally
implement your requirements. The end-result are
high-grade, top-performance products which have
done well in use for many years now.
State-of-the-art manufacturing
Machinery equipped with the latest
manufactur-ing technologies and processes, an exceptionally
extensive manufacturing depth and highly trained
employees ensure that each and every product is
manufactured to a maximum degree of precision.
No deviations are accepted in the process. Constant
checks in all manufacturing steps see to it that
qualities remain high and with products supplied
on which you can unreservedly rely.

Specialist and all-round talent
– a professional surpassing the
expectations.
IPR tool changers are in demand and have
established themselves in many industries.
For years now our products have been used in
numerous industries. IPR is the premium choice
especially when considerable demands are placed
on reliability and precision. It is therefore not for
nothing that well-known companies from the
most varied of industries - such as the automobile
and component supplier industry, aerospace,
mechanical engineering and medical technology -
today rank amongst our customers.
caviTy waxing
IPR's automatic nozzle changing systems
allow different types of tools to be easily and
rapidly changed when robot wax applications
are undertaken. Anything can be changed
- from mono nozzles up to nozzle change
heads with four to six pneumatically
swivable nozzles. A single robot is thus able
to fully automatically work on a number of
hollow spaces one after the other. The tool
changing system is also available with a
36-fold air execution for fitting a spray bar.

Our
TK-160 and TK-300 tool changers
represent two systems which are optimally
adapted to the extreme conditions and
high temperatures prevailing in forging
and casting operations. Whilst a special
surface coating raises their capacity to
withstand corrosion and abrasive dusts,
specially deployed sealing substances
and lubricants ensure a high degree of
heat resistance. Aside from the standard
aluminium variant, a steel design for
payloads of up to 800 kg is available.

The
2D-NAD-Changer has been especially
developed for frequently changing
application nozzles in the NAD application.
It has both a special sealing system and
an integrated bayonet catch. It enables
the individual nozzles in the stacker to be
reliably docked and undocked. Equipped
with a variety of nozzle geometries for
broad and narrow seams, the robot can
thus do its rounds automatically – without
stopping.

modular, space-saving constructional
design. Air, water and power connections
can be confi gured at will for practically all
connection variants. In addition, valves for
pneumatically controlling the pliers can
be integrated. The system is designed for
payloads up to 200 kg.

Basically ingenious
and in use even better.
Balls, springs and pneumatics for a connection -
that keeps in place … what we promise.
Always closed
The locking mechanism of the tool changing
system is ball-implemented. The balls are
pressed via a bevel into a receptacle. If there is
a drop in air pressure, the balls are kept in the
receptacle by a spring integrated in the piston
chamber. This ensures automatic locking should
the compressed air drop. A spring-fitted cover
plate protects the locking mechanism from
contamination.
Long service life
Spring-fitted contacts are used for
transfer-ring signals. The sptransfer-rings prevent bending of the
contacts. A connection enables the contact pins
to be individually replaced should they become
worn. This guarantees long service life and
trans-mission dependability.
