San Raffaele Hospitalis a clinical research-university hospital with 49 clinical specialties and over 1300 beds; it is accredited by the Italian NHS. In 2012 it performed ~26,000 surgical interventions, ~45,000 patient admission, ~65,000 emergency room encounters and delivered over 7million services. Research at San Raffaele Hospital focuses on integrating basic, translational and clinical research to provide the most advanced care to our patients. We count on over 1500 scientists.
