What is Super-Ada?
Super-Ada is a campaign organized by Nice Tuesday, aiming at getting more girls and young women in the IT industry.
Less than 23 % of IT students and employees are women (a study by TIVIA, 2014).
The campaign's name is inspired by the world's first programmer, Ada Lovelace.

Station
• Time per team: 5 minutes
• Action points: 3 (i.e. 3 teams simultaneously)
• Grading Scale: 5 – 1 point
– 5p: Excellent performance, own creative thinking
– 4p: Technically functional performance
– 3p: Completed without help, result as requested
– 2p: Some help needed
– 1p: Task completed with assistance
• Schools stands: no points, just marked Accepted.

Valehtelijoiden klubi (reserved: Biisafe)
Select an odd looking object and try to make a great story of it with your team and create innovative usage for it.
Koneen osat (reserved: Insinööriliitto)
There are 5 components taken out of a computer. Team should recognize hard disk, fan, motherboard etc. Google may be used.
Sushi-prosessi (reserved: Nebula)
Team should make delicious sushi following the given process. 5-minute-designer (reserved: Zalando)
Team should design a new user interface for webstore selling T-shirts. Team may use tools available (Balsamique, Post-it-notes...)

Neiti Etsivä (reserved: Vincit)
Conduct a user interview via video. User is located in Tampere. Team should find out user requirements for the new software.
Mikrohaaste
Team ’s task is to heat up a cup of water in a microwave oven. During the task all steps that went wrong/not-so-smoothly should be noted.
Pelaa ja paukuta
Play a team game such as Agile puzzle.
Pilvipolku (reserved: Nokia)
Team should find the right path for data to move between the machines.

Practical information
• Stations/Schools stands will have a table, chairs, electric plug and free wlan. Please bring your own extension cords.
• You may bring brochures and other materials as well. Please note when bringing roll-ups that we wish to have space around the tables in order to make walking paths as fluent as possible.
• Candy, drinks and other commercial materials may be presented and are surely appreciated by participants
• Super-Ada will provide grading materials for stations, info brochures and name tags.
• Parking space available nearT-Talo. Please note that there is construction work in Otaniemi. Buses 102 and 103
operate from Kamppi.
Volunteers
• There will be a guarded cloak room for coats free of charge.
• Coffee/tea free of charge from the cafe by showing your Super-Ada name tag.
• Sandwiches etc. may be purchased at the cafeteria area.
• T-talo will open at 9am and close at 4pm.
• After party for volunteers after the event in Helsinki centre. Location will be announced later on.

Super-Ada marketing will start with full speed in January
