Efficiency Program

When you take advantage of our Commercial Buildings program, you can:

 Start with an Energy Efficiency Assessment. We cover the majority of the cost – your cost to participate is $2,500.

 Save up to 15% or more on energy.

 If there are opportunities that require an additional analysis, we’ll fund up to 75% of the cost for an investigative study, not to exceed $25,000.

 Benefit from energy-efficiency expertise through each step of the process

 Receive a 30% bonus on any project implementations that are a result of the energy assessment.

Refrigeration Efficiency

Through the free (no obligation) refrigeration assessment, Franklin Energy, will:

Provide a report on key findings and cost-saving

recommendations.

Provide and install (at no cost) simple energy-saving

products like screw-in LEDs or pre-rinse sprayers that can help you reduce energy use immediately.

Perform a basic coil cleaning and provide a personal

tutorial on how to maintain your condenser coils for optimal energy efficiency.

Should you choose to complete additional, energy-saving

upgrades, they will serve as a liaison between you and your contractor to ensure quality installation; and

complete and submit all rebate paperwork.

Variable Frequency Drives:

Drives placed on 1-200 HP motors that are used on FAN or PUMP

applications.

Drive rebates are currently available to customers who replace existing drives.

VFD Rebates will go down for 2014 except for:

1.5 – 3 HP = $600 rebate, 5 HP = $900, 7.5 HP = $1130

Prescriptive caps out at 200 HP = $12,000/$10,500 (2014) rebate

ECM (Electronically Commutated Motors):

ECMs that replaced shaded pole motors within refrigerated display

cases or (freezer) display cases

Rebate is $40.00

ECMs that replaced shaded pole motors within walk-in refrigerators

or walk-in refrigerators.

Rebate is $70.00

 ENERGY STAR®-qualified interior LED screw-in or pin-based lamps, and interior LED downlight luminaires, replacing incandescent or halogen systems that use three to six times more energy

 LED wall pack fixtures

 Parking garage T8 Lamps

 LED cooler and freezer case strip lighting (for five and six foot doors)1 replacing less efficient fluorescent systems

 Exterior LED canopy or soffit fixture replacing HID systems that use three to six times the energy

Colorado businesses can earn rebates on

improvements to building controls with our Energy

Management Systems (EMS) program.

We offer funds to help you automate energy intensive

functions in order to power equipment only when

needed. As a result, you get increased efficiency and

lower energy bills year after year.

You must receive preapproval before you purchase
