This workshop focuses on reports used by teachers and instructional coaches for grades K–2. Explore which assessments and reports to use for status, growth, and diagnostic data. You’ll also learn how to differentiate instruction by pairing groups of students with skills in the learning continuum.

Once you have the basics down, it’s time to identify the specific ways you plan to use this tool with students. You’ll practice interpreting and applying MAP Skills missions and data to support your intended instructional use. You’ll also explore how to design a plan to incorporate the assessment into the classroom—including details on logistics, curriculum integration, and communication.

While the assessment is quick, we

recommend setting aside some time

New to MAP Reading Fluency? In this workshop, you’ll practice administering the assessment and connecting student results to specific early literacy skills or competencies. You’ll also explore how to use assessment data to gain a holistic view of students’ reading abilities to better track their progress.

Essential Reports

Interact with individual student and class reports, identify students’ needs to inform instruction, and share insights with students and parents. Dive into key reports and resources to support young readers at various levels. Use individual student data and class reports to differentiate reading instruction. Guide students and parents in understanding evidence from the assessment.
