It is recommended that you conduct a new install with a fresh operating system for all new versions of RightFax. To perform an in-place upgrade:
Your RightFax system must be at version 9.4FP1 SR3
The RightFax server must run on a supported operating system (Windows Server 2008/2008R2)
9. How does the new licensing and activation model work?
RightFax 10 introduces a new streamlined and consolidated activation that presents a simplified and straightforward licensing model. In summary: The Product Licensing Utility (PLU) consolidates and streamlines the RightFax activation process and includes the activation of all MFP connectors, Fax over IP (FoIP) channels, and fax board licensing
The PLU also activates evaluation versions of RightFax
