Preface
It is our great pleasure and honor to bring you to this collection of articles from 2020 the 3rd International Conference on Software Engineering and Information Management (ICSIM 2020) and its workshop 2020 the 3rd International Conference on Big Data and Smart Computing (ICBDSC 2020) which were held in Sydney, Australia on January 12-15, 2020.
The conference is addressed to academics, researchers and professionals with a particular interest related to the conference topic. It brings together academics, researchers and professionals in the field of software engineering and information management as well as big data and smart computing making the conference a perfect platform to share experience, foster collaborations across industry and academia, and evaluate emerging technologies across the globe.
The evaluation of all the papers was performed based on the reports from anonymous reviewers and international experts, who were qualified in the fields of software engineering, information management, big data and smart computing. We received 85 papers, and 46 papers were selected for publication after their presentations on the conference. The paper were divided into 6 chapters, the papers provide a wide spectrum of research results in a wide range of software engineering, information management, big data and smart computing. The chapters are devoted to the framework of data science and big data technology, machine learning and intelligent computing, software engineering and project management, image processing, information network and application technology as well as computer science and information technology.
Specific research results by conference participants were presented and examined in the light of the frameworks outlined above, which is of interest to academics, researchers and professionals in this field.
Also, we would like to thank our keynote speakers who were pleased to make contributions to our conference and shared their new research ideas with us. They are Prof. Yonghui Li, IEEE Fellow, from University of Sydney, Australia; Prof. Xiangjian (Sean) He, from University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia and Prof. Eko K. Budiardjo, from University of Indonesia, Indonesia. At the meantime, we also express our heartfelt appreciation to our conference chairs, program chairs, steering committee members, technical committee members, reviewers, all the authors and delegates, who made a lot of efforts and contributions. Thanks to their support and help, we have held this conference successfully and always keep making progress. We expect that the future ICSIM&ICBDSC conferences will be more stimulating than this one, as indicated by the contributions presented in this proceedings volume.
