VideoEdge Network Video Management Systems:

American Dynamics VideoEdge Network Video Recorder (NVR) is the industry’s first turn-key solution that transforms most standard commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) computers into appliance servers. Our bundled servers are preconfigured with an embedded Linux operating system, web server, network security, and storage applications to get you up and running within a couple of minutes.

The open system architecture of VideoEdge NVR allows you to start with a four camera slot license and can easily scale up as needed by uploading a valid updated NVR camera license file. There is no need to register each individual camera as required by many other similar products on the market today.

VideoEdge NVR Management Suite of software expands the capacities of VideoEdge NVR with Windows®_{-based solutions}

that offer useful and advanced features to better manage, access, and control our enterprise IP surveillance system.

Vx Client: Vx Client allows you to log into many VideoEdge NVRs and create a single virtual NVR interface. Cameras from different NVRs can be viewed in any combination; plus you can quickly and easily search through hours of video using Motion Search capabilities.

VMx Agent: VMx Agent enables Vx Client users to remotely push any camera and view combination over the network onto the local monitor(s) of the VMx Agent PC.

Cx Alert Console: Cx Alert Console software lets you easily monitor alerts (such as motion detection, sensor alarms, NVR alerts) generated by one or more VideoEdge NVRs. It also creates customized multi-layer maps that are used for map-based monitoring by Cx Alert Console and Vx Client software products.

Cx Site Manager: Cx Site Manager gives you single-site login and maintains a single SQL database repository of all NVR alerts. This makes it much easier for IT and physical security departments in multi-site organizations to administer and manage their systems.

Vx Player: Use Vx Player to view video exported from any VideoEdge NVR. Vx Player provides standard controls for playback of recorded ISO images or video that is exported from the NVR to a local or network drive.

Web Client: VideoEdge NVRs come standard with a built-in web server. This enables you to configure the NVRs from any client PC, including Windows, Macintosh, or UNIX systems. It supports most standard browsers for logging into the NVR to manage the system.
