Liquid Keratin Professional Restorative Smoothing Treatment is an exclusive new
system developed to promote the smoothing and relaxing of waves while repairing
damage caused from other chemical processes. Because of its ability to penetrate the
hair fibre, Liquid Keratin Professional Restorative Smoothing Treatment, provides more
shine, conditioning, strength and resistance to hair fibers damaged by other chemical
processes.
How it works:
Liquid Keratin Professional Restorative Smoothing Treatment is based on the
interconversion of oxidized proteins and amino acids with reduced Cysteine to allow
for semi-permanent straightening of curly and wavy hair.
Shake treatment bottle and pour a small amount (approx. 1 - 1.5 oz) into a color bowl Apply product with a dye brush from root to tip
Starting at nape of neck apply to 1 inch sections, comb through from scalp to ends. Apply just enough product to coat the hair. Do not over-saturate.

Wash hair well with a clarifying shampoo and repeat Rinse thoroughly
Towel dry hair until just slightly damp (80% -90% dry)
Leave product on hair for 10 - 20 minutes (10 for normal, wavy, or damaged hair up to 20 for coarse, curly hair).
Dry hair using a blow dryer. Hair should be 100% dry.
Run 5 - 7 passes (depending on condition of hair) with a flat iron at high heat (400ºF - 450ºF) over 1/8” sections.
Step 5: Set the Liquid Keratin Professional Restorative Smoothing Treatment
Let sit for 15 minutes.
Step 6: Remove the Liquid Keratin Professional Restorative Smoothing Treatment
Shampoo hair thoroughly with Liquid Keratin Healthy Hair De-Frizz Shampoo. Rinse well and repeat.
Apply Liquid Keratin Deep De-Frizz Conditioner. Leave on for 3 - 5 minutes.
Rinse.
Towel dry and style as desired.

APPLICATION NOTES
Hair Color: Liquid Keratin Professional Restorative Smoothing Treatment can
cause a slight lift of hair color and therefore it is recommended to perform
this service prior to the client’s color service.
Scent: There is no scent to the treatment or when applying the treatment,
however some customers will experience a chemical scent when hair is
wet during the first few washes. This scent will lessen with each wash and
will usually be gone completely by the 4th wash. When hair is dry, there is
no scent at all. The extent of this chemical scent completely dependent on
hair type.
Steam/Smoke: You will notice some steam during the process. This is due
to the treatment formula being aqueous (water based). This steam has no
scent and will not burn the eyes, nose or throat. Again, the amount of
steam present during the process is hair type dependent. As well, applying
too much product or the hair being too wet prior to application will produce
more steam. For the least amount of steam, towel dry hair until 80% -
90% dry and use just enough product to coat the hair, use a fine tooth
comb to remove excess product, if necessary.
After Care: Use Liquid Keratin Infusing Healthy Hair De-Frizz Shampoo,
Liquid Keratin Infusing Deep De-Frizz Conditioner and Liquid Keratin Filling
Leave-In Conditioner every time hair is washed for longest lasting results.
These products do not contain sodium chloride. Sodium chloride will
diminish the effects of the treatment very quickly. Liquid Keratin shampoo,
conditioner and leave-in conditioner are specially formulated to be used with
all Liquid Keratin Treatments, therefore enhancing and prolonging the
treatments results.
Remember: Liquid Keratin Professional Restorative Smoothing Treatment is
a progressive treatment, with improved results with subsequent
applications.

Depending on the length and hair type, the treatment will take between 2 - 3 hours.
Q: Can the treatment be used on pregnant or nursing customers?
Liquid Keratin Professional does not contain toxic ingredients or release toxic chemicals, however it is advised that clients consult with their physician before applying the
treatment.
Liquid Keratin Professional is safe to use on color treated hair. However, due to its PH level, this process may slightly lift hair color, therefore it is recommended to schedule color services after completion of the treatment.
Liquid Keratin Professional is safe to use on previously relaxed and chemically treated hair. It will repair and provide shine, conditioning and strength to hair fibres damaged by other chemical processes.
On average, results will last between 8 - 12 weeks.
