District Reopening Plan

Reopening Plan

Stage I:

• The District would start with remote/hybrid learning for 6 weeks from September 8th October 16th.

• During this period of time it is our intention to provide small group instruction, assessments, evaluations and specialized programs for students.

• We believe we can meet Delaware Department of Education (DDOE) and Delaware Public

Health (DPH) guidance regarding transportation and safety by phasing in the return of in-person school. Staging in this manner will allow us to utilize all of our buses and custodians to provide additional support.

Note: These dates are subject to change.

Stage II

— Students whose parents have selected hybrid will

receive two days of in-person instruction a week, with three days of remote learning. This will be based on a number of factors:

— the number of parents choosing hybrid, — the ability to transport students, and — the ability to maintain safety standards.

— On October 19th, students who selected the hybrid

option in grades K – 3 and the CRCWP onsite and offsite programs will return for the two days in-person / three days of remote instruction.

— On October 26thEIP students and grades 4 – 5 will

return.

— Students whose parents opt for only remote

learning will receive the same curriculum being provided to those who selected the hybrid model of instruction.
