Great! You won’t have to create any security answers again. But because this is your first time signing on using this computer, you will need to install a piece of software called Citrix before you’ll be able to get on to hCare Access.

First, a question: Are you on a PC, Mac, or iPad? Choose one below:

(7)

Citrix Installation for PC

Step 1 – Type your division’s hCare Access URL, found above in “Your Starting Point”, into Internet Explorer

If you don’t know your hCare Access URL, click on “Go to My Starting Point” to find it.

Go to My Starting Point

Step 2 – Sign in with your 3/4 and password

(8)

Step 4 – Click “Run” to install the software from Citrix

Quick Tip! You may need to “allow” Internet Explorer to install this software. You’ll see a bar just below the address bar with a warning. Click on that bar and choose Allow

Step 5 – Choose “Run” again when prompted

Internet Explorer is just trying to make sure you really want to install this. You do!

At this point, you’re more or less done with your part of the install. A progress bar will appear, followed by a notification of successful installation.

(9)

Did you say this was your first time using hCare Access? If so, click below to see what’s next for you. Go to Security Questions

If you’ve already enrolled, you’ll move on to answering your security questions. Step 6 – Answer your two security questions

Citrix Installation for iPad

You’ll love using hCare Access on the tablet; nothing is more portable! But we do want to give you a heads-up that getting started on an iPad has a few more steps. Here are the overall steps, in a nutshell:

Step 1. Install Citrix Receiver App on your iPad

Step 2. Perform your first iPad sign-in via the iPad’s Safari Browser, and answer security questions. Step 3. After questions are answered via the browser, your Citrix Receiver app will launch and take you

to the desktop.

Step 4. The next time you use your iPad for hCare Access, you’ll go straight to the app. Let’s get started!

Step 1.

Install Citrix Receiver App

If you don’t have the Citrix Receiver App already, you’ll be installing Citrix through the Apple iTunes Store. Here’s a link straight to it: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/citrix-receiver/id363501921?mt=8

Step 2.

Perform your first iPad sign-in via the iPad’s Safari Browser, and answer

security questions.

Do you need your division’s URL? You can find it under “Your Starting Point”. Click the button below:

Go to My Starting Point

(18)

If this is your personal iPad, be sure to click “Yes” when asked whether you would like your computer to be remembered.

Quick Tip: If you choose “No”, you will answer security questions each time you sign in from this device. If you choose “Yes”, this is the last time you’ll need to answer those questions (unless you delete your cookies).

Step 3.

After questions are answered via the browser, your Citrix Receiver app will

launch and give you the chance to select your desktop.

Click the “+” sign to get to your desktop.

Step 4.

The next time you use your iPad for hCare Access, you’ll go straight to the

app.

(19)

Having Some Trouble? Check out the two tips below:

Quick Tip: If you’re having some trouble here, select “Options” and then select “Manual setup”

Quick Tip: Did you get the gibberish below? This is RSA’s (our security software) attempt to ask you your security questions through the Citrix App. That doesn’t work yet, unfortunately. You’ll need to go through the browser to sign in if you see this.

(20)

I’m new to hCare Access, where do I start?

Since you’re new you’ll need to do two things to get underway: Install a piece of software called Citrix, and create security questions.

Citrix Installation

Installing the Citrix software is easy stuff. For the instructions, click which system you’re using below.

Creating Security Questions

When you’re done with Citrix, you’ll set up security questions before you get to your desktop. You only need to do this one time!

Step 1 – Select Security Questions and enter in your answers

Step 2 – Are you on a personal computer or tablet? If so, choose “Yes” below. If this is a public or shared computer/tablet, choose “No”. Then click the “Continue” button.

Quick Tip: If you choose “No”, you will answer security questions each time you sign in from this device. If you choose “Yes”, this is the last time you’ll need to answer those questions (unless you delete your cookies).

(21)

Step 3 – Confirm your questions and answers. If something looks out of place, choose “Update Your Settings” to fix it, otherwise choose “Finish” to move on.

That’s all! Your sign-in will complete and deliver you to your desktop, as the screenshots below demonstrate:

New hCare Access User on an iPad

You said you’re not yet enrolled with hCare Access, and you’re on an iPad right?

Unfortunately, iPads require several more steps to get setup right now, and we hate to say it, but New Enrollees on iPads have a few extra still. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience, but don’t worry, you’ll only have to do all of this one time!

Here’s what to expect.

Step 1. Follow the New hCare Access User process on either a Mac or a PC. This will allow you to create your 4 security questions.

Step 2. Follow the process for installing Citrix for Enrolled Users

Step 1.

Which will you use, Mac or PC?

PC Mac
