REAL PRODUCTS. With MagiCAD you design with real products from the start. When you need a valve, a radiator, a diffuser or any other installation product, you can select it from MagiCAD’s product database.

This is what makes MagiCAD so special. In the applications, such as MagiCAD Ventilation, Heating & Piping or Electrical, you design and evaluate your entire system.

The product database that’s part of MagiCAD gives you immediate access to more than one million products from leading international manufacturers. This number is steadily increasing, as new products and manufacturers are added to the database.

CALCULATIONS. The 3D product models from the database have correct dimensions, since they are modelled from physical products to a high level of detail.

They also contain technical data provided by the manufacturer. Values for pressure loss, sound levels, heating or cooling capacity, power consumption and other data are always present in the model, allowing you to make accurate calculations while designing.

The combination of MagiCAD and the product database ensures your final design will contain all the necessary information and will perform as planned.

COLLISION CONTROL. Collisions are found and corrected during the design stage. Contractors can trust the project model on site, saving installation time and improving quality. MagiCAD Ventilation

MagiCAD Ventilation contains a large selection of built-in calculation functions, such as flow summation, sizing, balancing, sound calculation and bills of materials.

MagiCAD Ventilation provides many clever and automated functions that cut down on routine work. If, for example, you change direction

while drawing a duct, MagiCAD creates the bend automatically. If you connect to a bend, the bend is automatically converted to a T-piece.

If you change dimensions, the transition piece is automatically created. If one dimension is undefined, just give the duct size and MagiCAD will create all the necessary components for sizing.

Providing clean healthy air indoors is one of the most challenging tasks in modern

buildings. Requirements on energy conservation and air quality tend to contradict

The plugin program then returns a finished model instantly. Plugins are web-based or client-based programs run from inside MagiCAD. Designers don’t need to interrupt the workflow. Once the plugin is activated, it can be reached from MagiCAD’s menu in the same way as any other function.
