Smart Green City

As people’s quality of life improves, people desire economic affluence, better health conditions, higher education standards, and amenities. The same goes for quality of life in cities. Residents today want their cities to have more than a good design; they want their cities

to be clean and convenient, with easy accessibility and communications. ʻSmart Green Cityʼ

can provide this ideal environment. Smart Green City can provide residents with convenience, efficiency, safety and environment-friendliness. Smart Green City is the next step in the evolution of cities that will enhance the quality of life.

Conditions for Smart Green City

To address and handle problems that arise when managing cities, LG CNS Smart City

solutions uses the SENSE-THINK-ACT process. This involves ʻsensingʼ city infrastructure components, ʻthinkingʼ by analyzing and forecasting conditions for the city, and ʻactingʼ by

systematically controlling city conditions. LG CNS Smart City Solutions provides the foundation needed to build Smart Green City.

INTEGRATION

Integrated management through SENSE-THINK-ACT technology

Smart City Solutions provides integrated management of buildings, infrastructure, energy, and

the environment. It monitors city infrastructure (SENSE), reports issues after analyzing data

(THINK). Based on forecast simulation, Smart City Solutions deploys automated controls to

maintain an optimized environment (ACT).

+Example

When a fire is detected in a building, Smart City Solutions provides fire alarms, evacuation orders, and instructions to neighboring buildings and pedestrians.

❷ When a leak is detected from the water supply system, Smart City Solutions provides onsite status updates and

alerts in neighboring roads in the vicinity.

Feature 3

COMPATIBILITY

Compatible Interface Adaptor

Smart City Solutions comes with built-in protocol adaptors. By separating service and device interface layer, Smart City Solutions allows easy interoperability, and easy addition and

modification of non-standard protocols.

Feature 4

CUSTOMIZATION

Quick response to incidents through Standard Operating Procedure(SOP)

In case of an incident, Smart City Solutions provides quick responses to unexpected incidents by displaying Standard Operating Procedure(SOP). SOP can easily adapt to the operator’s

environment and the changes when necessary.

Feature 2

EFFICIENCY

Increased Efficiency from Total Energy Service

Existing energy solutions require a customized solution based on the specific needs of the city. Smart City Solutions resolves this issue by providing a unified and systematic management of

city infrastructure. From energy diagnosis, consulting, design and implementation, Smart City Solutions provides one-stop solution for your city management needs. Smart City Solutions also provides monitoring and control as well as comparative analysis of energy use data.

These features allow Smart City Solutions to reduce energy use and realize an environment-friendly

green city.
